Life’s challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face them alone. As a Filipino-American immigrant and career switcher (former medical student and tech sales professional), I understand the complexities of navigating major life transitions—whether adjusting to a new culture, finding your place in a demanding career, or balancing personal and professional expectations. I specialize in supporting high-achieving young professionals, first-generation Asian-Americans, healthcare workers, medical spouses, immigrants, and international students facing anxiety, burnout, imposter syndrome, self-worth, identity, and relationship challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive. Together, we’ll explore how past experiences shape your present, helping you break free from patterns that no longer serve you. Fluent in English and Tagalog, I offer a space where you can unpack your experiences, build self-trust, and move forward with clarity. If you're ready to reclaim your voice, self-worth, and direction, I invite you to take the next step. Therapy is a space where you can explore your experiences without judgment and gain tools for lasting change. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone—I’m here to support you.

These experiences deeply inform our work and strengthen our commitment to supporting the emotional, cultural, and systemic challenges that members of the Asian community often face. Our practice offers tailored therapy for children, families, and adults. Our approach is rooted in trauma-informed care that honors the diverse cultural and personal backgrounds of each client.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or drained? Do you feel like no one understands what you have gone through/are going through? Or do you find that you keep your feelings and personal experiences to yourself so you’re not a burden to others? You are not alone. It is not uncommon to feel disconnected and lonely, especially in this day and age. My name is Patricia Sibiga and I am a graduate student at CUNY Hunter studying Mental Health Counseling. My goal is to work together to talk through feelings of dissatisfaction and having a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and heard. Being vulnerable about your feelings and experiences can feel really scary and hard to do, especially if you have experienced being shut down when trying to in the past. Holding onto difficult feelings on your own can start to feel like a weight on your shoulders that continues to get heavier without an end in sight. Starting therapy can help to release that weight and strengthen your resilience to life’s inevitable encounters. My ambition as a therapist-in-training is to create a space where you are able to discuss these feelings and experiences without feeling shut down and unheard. You deserve to have a space in your life to discuss these topics in a non-judgmental, uplifting environment! My practice is rooted in psychodynamic, CBT, and mindfulness based approaches with a sprinkle of somatic therapy. With these theoretical approaches, we can work together to learn how current and past experiences are impacting your day-to-day, to practice grounding and mindfulness, and discover healthy cognitive behaviors and coping skills that may help with psychological distress. Patricia Sibiga is a therapist-in-training at Sol Health. Sol Health is a digital health startup that offers $30 therapy to Gen Zs by connecting them with therapist-in-training accruing clinical hours.
I am a New York State licensed psychologist with over a decade of experience. I work with adults of diverse backgrounds and my areas of special interest include difficult life transitions, relationship conflict, racial/cultural identity, and grief and loss. I offer online video therapy sessions (telehealth) exclusively, making therapy comfortable and accessible. Whether you are struggling with negative feelings toward yourself, dissatisfaction with relationships, your academic performance or are having difficulty letting go of the past, experiencing fear about the future, or simply feeling stuck in current circumstances, therapy can bring about needed change. To achieve this, our work together may involve finding meaning and purpose, establishing or recovering a connection to your inner emotional world and/or important people around you, processing and recovering from emotional wounds, be they old or recent, or formulating a concrete plan of action and working on it together step by step. My theoretical orientation is primarily psychodynamic and I integrate other approaches (i.e. DBT, CBT, etc.) as appropriate while always working from a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive lens. I am Zur Institute certified in teletherapy. I offer a free brief phone consultation prior to scheduling an initial appointment in order to clarify whether teletherapy with me would be a good fit. Do you find yourself stuck in the same relationship patterns, battling anxiety, or struggling to feel truly seen and understood? I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to help you find clarity, confidence, and connection. I specialize in working with individuals and couples who want to deepen their relationships, overcome obstacles, and create a more fulfilling life. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and develop strategies to move forward.
I am a humanistic and relational therapist that is passionate about the power of human connection and strongly values the healing properties of the therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a warm and safe space where individuals can feel safe to explore difficult topics, believing that this is the first and most important step in the healing process. I recognize that the human experience is often deeply complex and painful, yet has the potential to be beautiful and fulfilling as well. My goal in working with people is to walk alongside them and help them to better understand themselves, gain insight, work through the more painful moments of the past, and discover their own capability to cope with and grow through life’s hardships. My approach to therapy is holistic, exploring the many components and intersecting areas of a person’s life. Additionally, I work to tailor each therapeutic experience to the individual, accounting for the unique needs of each person. I have experience working with trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, identity issues, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I love utilizing humor, creativity, and mindfulness in session, as I believe tapping into these elements can be incredibly healing.
