MY VIEW ON THERAPY As a fellow New Yorker who balances personal and professional commitments, managing life’s multiple roles is a necessity. Therapy can serve as the missing link to one’s happiness and future success. In our work together, discovering how to live exactly the life that you want is paramount. I practice Holistic Psychology and feel passionate about making science, wellness, and psychology accessible tools everyone can utilize in their lives to cultivate the best version of themselves. As a trained psychologist, I provide integrative strengths-based psychotherapy. My approach is grounded in scientifically backed, evidence-based psychology methods. Through our work together, you’ll unlock your confidence, understand yourself more fully, and add coping skills to your toolbox to use for the rest of your life. You’ll look within to navigate your life and make decisions moving forward. MY STYLE I’ve worked with creatives, professionals, CEOs, college students, and entrepreneurs. I work best with people who take an active role in discovering fulfillment. I’m caring, curious, warm, and interactive. I’m highly motivated to help you transform your life and get your needs met. I believe that everyone is capable of thriving. With an inherent ability to see the good in everyone, I have always loved connecting with people and helping them discover their internal goodness, vitality, and strengths. We’ll balance the seriousness with laughter, and you’ll start to notice changes in your mood from our first session. When not in the office, I am facilitating meditation and mindfulness workshops in schools, clinics, and the community. Weather permitting, I can be found at various parks throughout Manhattan enjoying the natural beauty, a good book, or others’ dogs. MY PROFESSIONAL TRAINING I have worked in urban and suburban public and private schools, community mental health clinics, and outpatient clinics providing therapeutic services to individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. After years in the field, I’ve honed my expertise and continue regular training in these areas: anxiety and stress reduction, relational concerns (family, romantic, peer, work relationships), college transitions, career/executive coaching, low self-esteem, and mood disorders. Grounded in my background, training, and passions, my work draws upon mindfulness, positive psychology, neuroscience, nutrition, integrative medicine, contemplative practices, and other forms of holistic health. My work allows others to navigate challenges, heal from life’s stressors, and most importantly, thrive in their lives. I work with people of all ages, from early childhood through adults, as well as families, groups, teams, and communities. I am thoughtful and personalize my treatment based on the varying needs of each client. My approach is grounded in scientifically backed methods with specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT). I see clients of all ages ranging from young childhood through adulthood, including families and couples.
Are you navigating life between two worlds, balancing family and cultural expectations with your own sense of self? Perhaps you're a child of immigrants, first-generation, or someone far from home asking deeper questions about who you are and where you belong. I'm a bilingual (English/Tagalog) psychotherapist specializing in depth-oriented, Jungian therapy. I work with Filipino Americans, Asian Americans, immigrants, and first-generation individuals doing the meaningful, sometimes difficult work of building an authentic identity, one that honors where they come from while making room for who they are becoming. My approach is exploratory and relational. Drawing from Jungian psychology, psychodynamic therapy, and somatic awareness, I work with the unconscious patterns, cultural conditioning, and intergenerational stories that shape your present life. This includes dream work, active imagination, and close attention to the body's wisdom alongside the mind's. If this resonates, I'd love to connect. I offer a free 15-minute consultation — reach out and let's talk. I also offer Walk & Talk therapy for clients in the Cupertino and Silicon Valley area - sessions conducted outdoors in nature for those who find that movement supports their process. Ask me about it when you reach out.

My goal is to help you become the person you want to be and to work with you toward achieving the goals that matter most to you. I do not accept insurance to avoid these issues, but I will help you get reimbursed using your Out Of Network benefits. Clients are normally reimbursed for up to 80% of the therapy cost!

Perhaps you have been feeling held back by unhelpful thoughts and feelings (worry, doubt, self-criticism) that get in the way or prevent you from living in the present moment. We partner with our clients to help them find new ways to navigate anxiety, OCD, low mood, and difficult life transitions. Our approach is focused on what is happening in the present while also honoring how your past experiences and identities shape where you are today. If you are exhausted by your obsessions, badgered by your inner critic, or trapped in anxious thought loops, you have come to the right place. There are 6 therapists including myself in the practice. We are all different in our approaches and areas of expertise. Our fees are flexible, as are our hours. We are offering in-person sessions. All of us have worked with students since the start of our careers. In fact women roughly ages 18-25 is our favorite population to work with. We believe the fit between client and therapist is the most important aspect of therapy. You feeling listened to, not judged and that we are focused on helping you is our goal.
Through careful listening and an empathic, honest approach I can help you feel better about yourself and your life. You may be struggling with with the difficulties of parenthood or marriage. The goal is always to feel better about love and work. I welcome adult individuals and adolescents into my practice, with a focus on college students. My work is psychoanalytically informed but pragmatic, and it is important to me to get to know my patients well and to spend time working collaboratively through their needs. I hold master's and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA and completed my psychoanalytic training at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research in New York. Too much stress can be overwhelming and will affect our concentration, stamina, and clarity of mind. The very nature of trauma is the experience of too much, a feeling of being overwhelmed. My specialty is in Creativity and Trauma and how one informs the other. This is not easy work, but it can be fun. We use what is called a Bottom Up approach, in combination with a Top Down. What this means is we learn to tune into our body brain and not just our head brain. As a Creative Arts psychotherapist and trauma specialist I've discovered ways to work that help you heal, feel better, and help you make more sense out of your life. When we meet first we find out what is going on, what has gone on, and how we want to use our time together. We can continue to talk; we may include some of the modalities in which I am trained (Art Therapy, EMDR...). It depends on what you are most comfortable with, and fits your particular issues and concerns Please know I am exclusively working online

College is a time of enormous adjustments, especially for students who identify as LGBTQIA+. Alongside the pressures to be successful academically, there are numerous personal challenges to navigate in terms of sex and sexuality, relationships, identity, social communities, and drug and alcohol use. In my work with queer college students, we take the time to understand the unique challenges of this time for you in particular, and I work to cultivate your abilities to meet these challenges with resourcefulness and creativity. We also work to bring you into greater awareness of the unconscious features of your mind, in order to know yourself better and to resolve deep-rooted conflicts.
