With 8 years of experience working with undergraduate and graduate students, I've witnessed the tremendous pressure to "have it altogether" in this next generation of adults. The pattern I see is one where one's self-worth is contingent on performance, and the pursuit for perfection is at the cost of authenticity. It's why I focused my practice on working with adults early/mid in their career who would describe themselves as high-performing, ambitious, and even perfectionistic. I want to support you with building a more balanced and compassionate view of yourself so that you can continue doing what you love without sacrificing your values. My approach is interactive, feeling-forward, and collaborative. My goal is to create as much space as possible so that, for one hour a week, you can talk about how you're really feeling. The therapy process is hard work but I'll be there with you the entire way through. I can't wait to meet you.

I believe psychotherapy is a project between two people where sources of emotional pain and anguish are discovered and revisited, where what has been denied, unimagined, forgotten, or come to be unspeakable can become imagined, felt and spoken. The process generates an understanding of ourselves that is vastly more dynamic than what our relationships, politics and culture allow, leading to the easing of suffering and the creation of new possibilities. The therapy I provide is open, an invitation. There is a freedom to it that takes courage and tolerance. It can involve a deconstructive or constructive momentum where you may not necessarily be told what to say or how to feel. It is an invitation to notice what comes to mind and what does not. What can emerge in a therapy is dynamic. It can surprise, frustrate, thrill and provoke. These experiences are worked through together. As you bring yourself as fully as possible to what confuses or afflicts, I will help guide you with my understanding of the mind toward a life of growth and healing.
Too much stress can be overwhelming and will affect our concentration, stamina, and clarity of mind. The very nature of trauma is the experience of too much, a feeling of being overwhelmed. My specialty is in Creativity and Trauma and how one informs the other. This is not easy work, but it can be fun. We use what is called a Bottom Up approach, in combination with a Top Down. What this means is we learn to tune into our body brain and not just our head brain. As a Creative Arts psychotherapist and trauma specialist I've discovered ways to work that help you heal, feel better, and help you make more sense out of your life. When we meet first we find out what is going on, what has gone on, and how we want to use our time together. We can continue to talk; we may include some of the modalities in which I am trained (Art Therapy, EMDR...). It depends on what you are most comfortable with, and fits your particular issues and concerns Please know I am exclusively working online

Aren't you tired of reading these profiles? Searching for that perfect mix of magic and promise that makes you think, "this one might just be worth the risk." And why shouldn't you be picky, right? Therapy IS a risk. You're risking time, money, and most of all; vulnerability. You want some sort of assurance that your risk will pay off. Well, no one can promise you that. Your therapist won't always know the perfect thing to say, and you won't walk out of every session feeling better. You want growth? You want change? That takes the willingness to not just bear, but to actually VALUE the pain involved in learning. Because if I'm doing my job right, then the negative patterns that are holding you back in life will spill out into the room. So if you’re just looking to end your suffering, I can't help you (sadly, no one can). If you want to learn to withstand the torment that life brings upon us. To translate that suffering into growth and change. Then reach out to me.
Hi there, I'm Alexa, and I'm glad you're here! Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, or exploring your identity as an adolescent or young adult in the LGBTQIA+ community, I'm here to walk alongside you. My experience in settings like a college crisis center, emergency foster care, and psychiatric residential centers has shaped my approach — compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. In our work together, we'll focus on helping you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered as you move toward the life you want. I believe therapy should feel personal to you-it is your treatment, after all! That's why I take a person-centered approach, meeting you with warmth, curiosity, and without judgment. I draw from psychodynamic theories, along with tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Expressive Arts to support your growth. I believe our healing is tied to environmental, political, social, and economic factors- and feel it is my responsibility as a therapist to hold each client within the larger context of their lived experiences. We all have a unique capacity for growth and healing, and I am eager to support you on your journey!
Hi :) Congratulations on taking the first steps in looking into therapy! Everyone goes through hard times and mental health is important. I am a dedicated Graduate Social Work Student at Binghamton University, building on the strong foundation I established during my undergraduate studies in Social Work at SUNY Plattsburgh. My professional journey has equipped me with valuable experience in supporting individuals who identify as neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, and those struggling with substance use disorders. I am well-versed in therapeutic techniques such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing, and I adopt a collaborative, team-oriented approach to help clients achieve their personal goals. My passion lies in addressing complex trauma and personality disorders, areas in which I am deeply committed to making a meaningful impact. Looking ahead, I aspire to open a practice dedicated to serving clients with intricate and challenging cases. My mission is to ensure that everyone I work with understands that they are not alone, and that effective help and support are always available. I aim to provide a judgment free space where you can express yourself and process both the good things and the challenges in life. I look forward to working with you! Denver is a therapist-in-training at Sol Health. Sol Health is a digital health startup that offers 30$ therapy to Gen Zs by connecting them with therapists in-training accruing clinical hours.
I work with students who need more or different support than they are able to access on-campus. You may be looking for long-term therapy or for a therapist who specializes in working with people like you. I am trained in several types of therapy (ACT, DBT, relational, multicultural-feminist) and apply them flexibly based on what you need. Students who work with me are often looking for longer-term therapy, where we address deeper issues in a safe relationship, at your own pace. Others are seeking individual therapy that makes room for activism and the big problems of our time. We may be a good fit for therapy together if you are coping with a difficult family, relationship trouble, recurrent mental health problems (e.g. BPD, PTSD, MDD, GAD), or a life transition (e.g. grief, divorce, pregnancy, moving, spiritual/religious crisis). I also have particular experience working with medical students. Finally, I am a climate-aware and social justice-focused therapist; this means your experience with collective problems like white supremacy and the climate crisis is a welcome, respected, and important part of therapy. I don't take insurance, but I offer sliding scale fees based on financial need. Please reach out to me for a 15-minute phone call to see what might be possible in our work together!
I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute phone call to answer your questions and concerns, discuss your insurance, and make a recommendation based on your needs. Whether you feel stuck, stressed, or unhappy for too long, I will assist you to identify your goals and figure out the way to change. As a licensed bilingual (English/Chinese Mandarin) psychologist with more than 10 years of experience, I have the highest level of doctoral training to help people from diverse background to overcome the challenges and live the best life possible. I specialize in helping individuals, couples, and family with relationship concerns, stress, depression, anxiety, self esteem, anger, life transitions, emotional disturbance, trauma, and work related issues. I implement evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic strategies in an effort to best meet your unique needs. I look forward to working with you in a safe and supportive environment where you can feel free to share your thoughts, emotions, and patterns of behaviors. Give me a call, email me, or visit my website. Let's open the door of possibilities and changes!

Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or drained? Do you feel like no one understands what you have gone through/are going through? Or do you find that you keep your feelings and personal experiences to yourself so you’re not a burden to others? You are not alone. It is not uncommon to feel disconnected and lonely, especially in this day and age. My name is Patricia Sibiga and I am a graduate student at CUNY Hunter studying Mental Health Counseling. My goal is to work together to talk through feelings of dissatisfaction and having a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and heard. Being vulnerable about your feelings and experiences can feel really scary and hard to do, especially if you have experienced being shut down when trying to in the past. Holding onto difficult feelings on your own can start to feel like a weight on your shoulders that continues to get heavier without an end in sight. Starting therapy can help to release that weight and strengthen your resilience to life’s inevitable encounters. My ambition as a therapist-in-training is to create a space where you are able to discuss these feelings and experiences without feeling shut down and unheard. You deserve to have a space in your life to discuss these topics in a non-judgmental, uplifting environment! My practice is rooted in psychodynamic, CBT, and mindfulness based approaches with a sprinkle of somatic therapy. With these theoretical approaches, we can work together to learn how current and past experiences are impacting your day-to-day, to practice grounding and mindfulness, and discover healthy cognitive behaviors and coping skills that may help with psychological distress. Patricia Sibiga is a therapist-in-training at Sol Health. You may be in a place in your life where you have noticed patterns of behavior that you would benefit from changing in some way. You may have contemplated these areas and feel like you have an understanding of when these issues arise and what has caused them, but are unsure of what you can do to address them. Perhaps you’ve found it difficult to communicate your wants and needs in certain situations. Or maybe you’ve realized that your methods of coping are neither the healthiest nor most helpful for dealing with distress. You may have even noticed that your relationships have fit into a pattern that you are now dissatisfied with. I am here to help you finally transition from reflection action. Working with me, you will work on figuring out the tangible steps you can take to improve what you would like to improve in your life. I will help you refine a skillset that will help you ensure that you are meeting your own needs while also nurturing those positive relationships in your life. As a queer, non-binary clinician, I also recognize the unique ways those of us in the LGBTQ+ community may identify and live our lives, and as such will help to ensure that the skills you build affirm your lifestyle. If this sounds of interest to you, please do not hesitate to book a free fifteen minute consultation with me today so you can begin growing.
