Therapists for college students near University of Minnesota
College is an exciting time, but it can also be stressful! For over fifteen years, I've worked with undergraduate and graduate women as they navigate burnout, relationships, juggle work and school, decide on a career path, and figure out who they want to be in life. Together, we'll identify your strengths, then use those to enhance your coping and help you overcome challenges. My therapy office is a warm and hopeful space where you'll find support to reach your goals.
Renew Mental Health offers trauma-informed, culturally sensitive individual counseling, including EMDR sessions, for adults through in-person sessions and tele-health. We believe in creating a safe and comfortable environment for healing, where you have the right to exist, be the expert on your own needs, and have the ability to explore tender areas while feeling free of judgment and in control. We enjoy working with people of all backgrounds and welcome individuals from all walks of life (ethnicity, race, religion, gender identity, and sexual orientation.)
My aim is to provide a space for you to feel safe. A space where you are important and your words are trusted. A space to be heard, with dignity and without judgement. If you are feeling stuck, lonely, frustrated, or sad in your life or in your relationship(s) you don't need to go through it alone. I see both individuals and couples, including poly and kink. Whether you are dealing with complex trauma or just feeling a little off; nobody’s problems are too big or too small for talk therapy.
We're a practice of two independently licensed social work clinicians who are passionate about working with young adults as they navigate all of the unexpecteds and uncontrollables that adulthood can bring.
We provide a safe space for you to learn ways to comfortably understand your thoughts and your feelings.
