Our lives can take many different paths, and finding the path that meets our needs and values can be hard to navigate. It can leave us in a place of feeling lost, overwhelmed, broken, and disconnected from our sense of self. This sense of hopelessness can prevent us from seeing the power within ourselves. It can be difficult work, but also rewarding. The choice of trusting to start the journey is yours. PeriAnne has had a passion for people from a young age, graduating from Central Michigan University with a degree in Psychology, she went on to earn her Masters in Marriage and Family therapy from Western Michigan University. I offer virtual (online) sessions only at this time. Some sessions can be made by appointment if openings are not noted on my calendar - just ask! Sometimes the anxiety and depression that come with life changes, trauma, relationship issues or job stress can be distracting and affect our ability to thrive. When people work through their thoughts and feelings, they often report feeling more clarity and a deeper sense of vitality and purpose. You can expect to be gently challenged to explore your experiences in a safe, kind and private space when you work with me. I've helped people find more confident self expression in decision-making and relationships. I've also had people report performing better in sports, school or the arts. Many people find themselves making better, more positive behavioral changes as they feel better emotionally. I use an eclectic mix of theories, often including psychodynamic work, in therapy to include the entire person: mind, body and soul. I try to educate and empower people to use practical tools they learn in therapy in realistic, lifelong ways. It takes courage to be vulnerable and acknowledge you'd like some help along this journey. I know because I've been there myself. Take the first step and I'll meet you there.
Hi there! My name is Jessica, and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I believe the real job of therapy is to provide a safe place where you get to know yourself better and make changes in your life. Feel like you’re either running at 100 mph or totally crashed on the couch? You’re not lazy — you’re burned out. College can feel like a nonstop sprint: classes, exams, internships, social life, and the pressure to have it all together. Maybe you procrastinate on assignments, overthink every decision, or call yourself “lazy” when you’re actually running on empty. My clients often feel like they “should” be doing more, even when they’re already stretched thin. Together, we’ll unpack that pressure, figure out where the self-doubt comes from, and help you feel more confident without sacrificing your sanity or who you really are. In our sessions, you don’t have to show up with it all together — it’s okay to feel messy, tired, or unsure. You can bring yourself as you are. We'll figure it out.

I specialize in supporting young adults as they navigate the many transitions that come with this stage of life—figuring out who they are, where they belong, and how they want to move through the world. Young adulthood can be a time of questioning, unlearning, and redefining yourself, especially after years of being told who you should be, what you should want, or how you should show up. At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to helping clients reconnect with their own voice—particularly when that voice has been shaped, silenced, or overshadowed by grief, anxiety, depression, or powerful systems and environments. In a loud, opinionated world, learning to listen to yourself and speak from a place of authenticity can feel daunting. My goal is to help you build trust in your inner voice and feel more confident using it—whether that means setting boundaries, expressing needs, or simply allowing yourself to take up space. I view therapy as a collaborative process, walking alongside you as you explore your identity, emotions, values, and the version of yourself you’re becoming. My approach is integrative and holistic, drawing from art therapy techniques, nervous system regulation, and mindfulness practices to support growth, healing, and self-connection. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and the fact that you’re here exploring different profiles already says a lot about your courage. I’m really glad you found mine. Let’s connect and explore how we can support your healing and wellness together. Reach out for a free 15-minute consultation—available in person, by phone, or via Zoom.

Life can feel heavier than it should, especially when you're trying to navigate a season of big changes and high expectations. You might notice you're constantly overthinking, feeling drained by a relentless cycle of daily responsibilities, or running on fumes as a high achiever who never quite feels like "enough." Over time, the stress of managing deadlines, next steps, and independent life can take a toll on your sleep, your relationships, and your energy—making it hard to actually enjoy your day-to-day life. My goal is to offer a welcoming, supportive space where you can step away from the pressure and talk openly about what’s truly on your mind. Together, we’ll work to better understand what you’re experiencing, find realistic ways to manage the unique challenges of modern transitions, and help you feel more confident, grounded, and connected to the life you want to live. When you reach out, you’ll connect directly with me. There is no front desk screening, I want your first connection to be as simple, private, and stress-free as possible. The way I work is grounded in warmth, respect, and a judgment-free space where you don’t have to have your entire future figured out. Together, we’ll focus on what you want to change, whether that’s finding more calm amidst daily stress, building healthier relationships, silencing overthinking, or reclaiming your confidence.
Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here and taking this important step in your therapy journey. My name is Ruqaiyah Rogers, and I’m a licensed clinical social worker and therapist. I’m passionate about helping college students like you find clarity, confidence, and balance while navigating life’s challenges. 🌟 College can be an exciting time, but it can also feel overwhelming whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, big life changes, or just feeling stuck. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel comfortable exploring what’s going on and figuring out ways to move forward. I see therapy as a partnership. We’ll work together to identify your goals and use approaches that fit your unique needs. For example: CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): This is all about helping you recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns so you can feel more in control of your emotions and actions. DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy): Here, we focus on learning practical skills like managing overwhelming feelings, improving relationships, and staying grounded in the moment. Brainspotting: This is a technique that helps process deeper emotions and stress stored in your body. It’s great for understanding and healing from tough experiences. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): This approach is especially helpful for working through difficult memories or trauma, so they don’t feel as overwhelming anymore. If this is your first time in therapy, you might feel a little nervous, and that’s completely normal. Therapy is a space just for you, a private, judgment-free zone, to talk about anything that’s on your mind, no matter how big or small. You’re already showing courage by taking this step, and I’m here to support you in finding your way toward growth, healing, and the life you want. Let’s work together to create meaningful change and help you feel more confident and connected to yourself. 💜💛
