Hi I'm Kate. It's nice to meet you, even if it's here on a website page. For many of us, we come to a point in our lives where we feel stuck. You might be at this point right now. You've tried everything you can think of to shift things, but nothing seems to be working. The gap between where you want to be and where you actually are is painful. In my practice, we explore these issues and stuck spots in a safe and nonjudgemental space. Together we experiment with new ways to open up, express, listen, and engage in order to bring about new understandings, deeper connections and most of all healing. The overall goal is to start Living Better, Feeling Better and Moving Forward. I may or may not be the right fit for you. I know it can be overwhelming to find a therapist. Reach out, if I am not the right fit, I will help you find someone who is. Hang in there. You are on the right track.

Do you identify as gender diverse (transgender, non-binary, gender queer, etc)? Are currently questioning or discovering your gender and/or needing a referral letter for medical transition steps? Jack Garner, LCSW is a licensed clinical therapist in the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Illinois and is a member of WPATH. Their practice is offered online where they provide individual counseling and coaching as well as referral letters for medical transition steps, such as HRT and surgeries (Note, all WPATH referral letters are provided under the informed consent model - meaning NO gate-keeping practices and it takes just one session to obtain your letter). I identify as gender diverse (AFAB, Non-Binary, Transmasc), which allows me to have a unique understanding, both personal and professional, that is not often found in the therapy world. I am passionate about serving our community and understand what it is like to question your gender, experience dysphoria, and take medical transition steps. If you are looking for a therapist who truly understands you and has 'been there' themselves - I am here for you! I look forward to meeting you and will absolutely consider it my honor to assist you in discovering and/or furthering your path to authenticity, wholeness, and joy. Looking through endless therapist profiles can be exhausting when you're already struggling. Let me make this simple: I don't sugarcoat things. I'm here to actively work with you, not just listen and nod like a sounding board. Working together, we can actually change what's not working by developing practical skills that are effective and easy to use. I've witnessed countless journeys of growth and healing and I believe wholeheartedly in your capacity for change. I work well with all kinds of people, and I especially click with gamers, students, and musicians - shared interests tend to lead to a better therapeutic connection. You're stuck, but not broken. I help with anxiety, depression, and substance use with practical approaches: harm reduction perspectives, CBT/DBT techniques, and mindfulness-based stress reduction. Whether you're dealing with social anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, burnout, or school stress, we'll build tools that will work specifically for you. Even though whatever hurdle you are trying to overcome may seem impossible, part of you knows something needs to change. Whether it's anxiety, substance use, depression, or feeling stuck - taking the first step is hard, but necessary. I offer free consultations to see if we're a good fit. One call could be the start to feeling better. Ready? Let's connect.

Choosing to complete higher education is not only stressful, it's confusing. It's the first time you're dipping your toe into adulthood, and having to navigate the world on your own for the first time. Your mental health is the most important thing to maintain while in school. I, too, had to have my own therapist throughout my 6 years of university, so don't think you're the only one. Depression, anxiety, relational issues, making friends, meeting deadlines for your homework: the list of struggles goes on and on. You don't have to hold it in and carry it alone. Let's work on making you the best version of yourself while you pursue carving out an amazing life for yourself.

Women come to me looking for someone who gets it. Are you tired of trying to be perfect but never feeling good enough, constantly seeking approval, or caring too much about what others think? Are you controlling from a place of fear? Is fear itself keeping you from becoming the best version of yourself? I’m here to help you break free from these struggles and step into the life you were created for. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I specialize in helping women uncover what’s holding them back. Through compassionate therapy rooted in proven techniques like CBT, we’ll identify the beliefs and past experiences keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll replace fear and doubt with confidence and clarity, empowering you to move forward boldly. In our first sessions, we’ll explore your story, identifying how past experiences and fears have shaped your current mindset. At your pace, we’ll challenge those patterns and uncover the purpose and identity God designed for you. What makes my practice unique is the flexibility to meet your needs, along with optional membership resources at thehealingculture.org for ongoing support. I’m passionate about this work because I’ve faced similar struggles and know the freedom and transformation that are possible. You don’t have to navigate this alone—let’s take the first step together!

I am so glad you are here. I am Angelica (she/her/hers), and I am a clinical social worker, who is a recovering people pleaser. I cant deny a cozy coffee shop and a decadent pastry. I am an excellent listener who can appreciate the uncomfortable silence, because that is where I find the most growth occurs. I work with students who have struggled to meet their own emotional needs. They are trying to relearn the balance of being a student, friend, and figuring out life’s next step. The ones who struggle to say that without taking care of themselves, they cant take care of anyone else around them. My goal is for you to view yourself as the beautiful person you are mentally, physically, and emotionally. Contact me at angelica@finding-balance-therapy.com or call/text me at (765)233-6968

Hi, I’m so glad you are here. If your life has come to a crossroad and you would like someone to walk alongside you as you navigate your journey, you have come to the right place. Feeling uncertain, worried, or hopeless can be scary and hard to cope with. Therapy provides a safe and supportive space to increase your self awareness and improve your ability to cope with stressors. My approach is client-centered, and targets balance between mind and body. The focus areas of my practice are women’s issues, bicultural identity, anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorder. I have several years of experience working in the field in inpatient and outpatient community mental health settings. I care about an array of social justice issues, most prominently disrupting racial oppression and promoting equity. I consider myself an ally to people who identify as LGBTQ+. I am deeply passionate about women's issues and navigating identity. I am so glad you are taking a moment to prioritize your well-being, and look forward to working with you!
