When it comes to addiction, individuals, families, and churches feel the impact and search for freedom. I believe that you are the expert on your own story. Creating a safe, warm, and affirming space for clients to come as they are without judgment is of utmost importance to me as a therapist. I want you to feel that you are known, seen, and heard – by entering your story with a sense of curiosity and understanding. I enjoy working with clients who have specific goals that they would like to accomplish in therapy – but if you’ve never experienced this before or don’t know where to begin, that’s okay too. We’ll work together to find your expertise, implement techniques you can take outside of our sessions, and start to fulfill your dreams. As someone who has been on the other side of the counseling room, I know firsthand how imperative it is to connect and vibe with your counselor. If I’m not a good fit for you, I’ll refer you to another therapist who might be. I provide both in-person and Telehealth sessions. My out-of-pocket fee is $125. I am willing to slide my fee to $75 a session in order to meet the needs at hand. I graduated in August 2021 with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Indiana Wesleyan University. My practice is informed by a blend of Attachment Theory, Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I’m developing clinical expertise in writing letters for gender-affirming surgery, sexual and gender identity issues, couples therapy, and a variety of mental illnesses. I’m passionate about empowering people to become who they truly are so that they can achieve the goals and dreams they have for themselves. I also enjoy finding the best taco places around, dancing, traveling the world, and spending quality time with friends. I’d love to spend time with you and hear your story.

Hello and welcome! I'm Morgan Konie, a compassionate and approachable therapist who believes in the transformative power of creativity and empathy in therapy. With a LSW I've dedicated my career to supporting adolescents and young adults through their unique journeys. Having gained experience in diverse settings, I am committed to providing effective support and guidance. I understand the complexities young people face today and strive to empower them to navigate life's transitions with resilience and self-awareness. I have a passion for the creative arts, which I integrate into therapeutic techniques to foster healing. My therapeutic approach is grounded in creating a safe and inclusive space where ALL individuals can explore their challenges and discover their strengths. I specialize in working with Depression, Anxiety, ODD, ADHD, PTSD, and body image concerns. Each person's experience is unique, and I tailor interventions to meet your specific needs. I aim to help you harness your innate abilities and achieve personal growth. Taking the first step towards therapy is a brave decision, and I am here to support you every step of the way. Together, we can embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
I work best with students who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or trying to make sense of a lot of emotions at once. You might be navigating big transitions, relationship stress, academic pressure, or feeling unsure about who you are or what comes next. Sometimes everything looks “fine” on the outside, but internally it feels heavy or hard to manage. The students I work with are often thoughtful and self-aware, but may feel stuck, overthinking, or emotionally drained. They’re looking for a space where they can slow down, understand what they’re feeling, and learn how to manage stress in a way that actually works for them. If you’re open to exploring your experiences, building emotional awareness, and finding more balance and clarity, we would likely be a good fit.

Morgan is a compassionate and skilled therapist with multiple years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. Before becoming a therapist, she spent 2–3 years as a social worker, providing support and advocacy for diverse communities. She currently offers individual therapy to clients age 13-35. Morgan tailors each session to meet the unique needs of her clients, integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and other somatic-informed techniques to support healing from anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. She specializes in working with teens, young adults, the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals facing major life transitions. With a deep understanding of how emotions manifest in the body, Morgan helps clients develop skills to manage distress, regulate emotions, and process past experiences. Whether working through trauma responses or coping with life’s uncertainties, she provides a supportive space for clients to explore, heal, and grow. Morgan believes that anyone is able to heal when they have the proper space with support, understanding, and empowerment. She works to create a therapy atmosphere where anyone can be comfortable and fully focus on personal needs without outside distractions. With these needs properly addressed, clients can tap into skills they already have and learn to mold them into intentional responses to stressors.
