Everyone faces seasons in their lives where it feels like they’re on a spinning wheel. Round and round and round you go, too afraid to get off or try something different, too stuck in old patterns or routines, lacking the skills or support to take the leap.  You’re here because you want something different, something more, something better for your life.  I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Life Coach with almost twenty years of experience in the field. Since starting my own private practice in 2020, I have primarily worked with women in adolescence through adulthood, focusing on life transitions, relationships, divorce, parenting, trauma, grief, and self-worth. As an integrative systems therapist, I understand that the systems we’re a part of, including our families of origin, communities and social networks, country, the world, and the planet, have profound impacts on us individually. I utilize a blend of modalities that meet each client where they’re at, including mindfulness, visualization, and writing. I have been EMDR-trained since 2021.  I’m currently accepting clients on a limited basis beginning in September 2026. Email me to secure your spot. I look forward to meeting you.

My treatment focus is working with adults and students who are suffering from anxiety, depression, grief/loss, stress management, and academic, family, and social issues. Welcome. If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted by the weight of everything you’ve been carrying, I want you to know you don’t have to figure it all out alone. I believe that therapy is, first and foremost, a partnership built on warmth, safety, and mutual respect. Life can be incredibly complex, and our mental well-being is deeply connected to everything around us—our physical health, our personal histories, and the day-to-day pressures of the world we live in. My goal is to provide a soft landing place where you can step out of the chaos, catch your breath, and feel truly heard. As a counselor with a deep background in both mental health and clinical medicine, I look at the whole picture of who you are. Together, we will gently explore what is holding you back, honor your lived experience, and collaborate on a practical, supportive path forward at a pace that feels safe and right for you. My Specialties Healing Trauma & Stress: Gently working together to soothe your nervous system, process old wounds, and bring a sense of safety back to your daily life. Navigating Life & Career Transitions: Providing a steady, encouraging anchor when you are managing major life shifts, educational pursuits, or redefining your personal goals. Financial & Socioeconomic Stress: Offering a compassionate, zero-judgment space to talk about the very real anxiety, stress, and burdens that financial and systemic pressures place on our minds and families. Integrative, Whole-Person Wellness: Honoring the profound connection between your mind and body, ensuring your physical well-being is supported alongside your emotional health. My Approach My therapeutic style is warm, interactive, and deeply collaborative. I am not a passive therapist who just sits and nods; I am right there in the trenches with you, listening with an open heart and a curious mind. Because everyone processes things differently, I love using creative, visual, and practical tools to help us map out patterns and make sense of heavy emotions together. There is no judgment here—only a shared commitment to your growth, your peace of mind, and your personal autonomy. Who I Work Best With I welcome adults from all walks of life who are looking for a deeply empathetic, down-to-earth ally. Whether you are navigating a demanding career, feeling crushed by the weight of systemic barriers, or simply trying to find your footing during a time of immense change, I am here to support you. If you are looking for a space where you can be completely, authentically yourself while working toward a more peaceful, resilient life, we will likely be a wonderful fit.

You may look capable and successful on the outside, but inside, you feel overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, or unsure of yourself. Many of the students I work best with are used to setting high expectations for themselves. You may put pressure on yourself to succeed, struggle with perfectionism, or feel like you are falling behind even when others think you are doing well. I also enjoy working with international students and students navigating different cultures. You may be balancing school with family expectations, relationships, questions about who you are and where you belong, or the stress of adapting to life away from home. Past difficult experiences may also be affecting how you feel and respond to stress today. In our work together, you do not have to have everything figured out. We can slow things down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and find practical ways to manage difficult emotions and everyday stress. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, understand yourself more deeply, and approach your life and relationships with greater confidence and choice.

Currently accepting new clients with Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday all day availability! In my therapy practice, I offer a compassionate and warm approach that doesn't feel like you are talking to someone who has it all together. As someone who has been there too, I offer you an authentic approach to learning skills that can help bring you peace and understanding towards yourself. Let me help you learn how to be kinder to yourself and move towards curiosity and understanding of your specific unique needs and how to communicate those needs in your relationships. Sometimes our lives can feel like we are on a roller coaster full of highs and lows. Often when we feel stuck in the chaos, we turn to things that relieve comfort temporarily but end up hurting us in the long run. If you are ready to understand why it is you do the things you do and how you can relieve your pain without hurting yourself, I can help. Living with mental health symptoms is a battle that not everyone understands. I encourage you to reach out if you are desiring someone who will walk alongside you as you discover who you are in a safe setting. I look forward to watching you transform into who you've always dreamed of becoming.

While college presents many exciting opportunities, it can also be a challenging time in your life. Maybe you're feeling the weight of academic pressures, wrestling through new ideas and realizations about the world, or navigating social life in a new way - maybe a combination of all of the above! You don't have to navigate these experiences alone. I offer an environment that is both compassionate and empowering, to walk alongside you in your pursuit of growth and healing. I offer counseling in-office, through telehealth, and in outdoor-settings. If the traditional office setting isn't for you, we can meet while on a hiking trail or on a walking path. We'll work together to meet your needs, in helping you reach your goals through the use of evidence-based practices, such as mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy, and a trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and trusting relationship.

Here’s a quick bit of information about my education, and areas of focus. I graduated from University of Louisville with Masters in Couple’s and Family Therapy, as well as Social Work. The majority of my training is in family systems therapy. In short, that means I believe all things function as a system and are interconnected. My approach to therapy is person centered, informal, and conversational. I believe it’s important to look at the whole picture, instead of solely placing the weight of the problem on one person. I also enjoy looking at Mind- Body- Spirit connection, which in my opinion tends to promote overall well-being. My focuses areas are: daily stressors, Depression, Anxiety, Life Adjustments, Relational concerns, etc. Some of the techniques I pull from frequently are: CBT,DBT, Distress Dis-tolerance( Mindfulness), IFS, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused, and motivational interviewing. Therapy is not a one size fit all. It’s important that the time you spend in session is designed for you. My work with you is tailored to you. My goal in session is to collaborate with you on your desired plan. I see myself as an assistant/ collaborator to helping you turn over the pieces in your life that need your attention. Therapy is the space and time where you are given the opportunity to be who you are. It is the space for you to be accepted and validate in a safe environment.
