Therapists for college students near Denver, CO
Hi there, I'm Lindsey! I help healers and caregivers who feel overwhelmed and not enough to feel appreciated, grounded, and confident by supporting deep self-reflection and boundaries. Many of my clients are students, teachers, social workers, therapists, nurses, and therapists, or they care for a loved one such as a partner, child, or parent. People who care for others often feel overwhelmed, anxious, not enough, and resentful because their needs aren't being met. Together, we can work to reduce your feeling of being overwhelmed, set healthy boundaries, and make you feel better.
At Creative Growth Counseling, we believe that healing happens through connection, authenticity, and a little humor along the way. Our goal is to create an affirming and compassionate space where individuals can explore their stories, reconnect with their strengths, and cultivate lasting growth. Our practice provides trauma-informed care rooted in empathy, self-discovery, and respect for each person’s unique journey. Each of our therapists brings their own background, expertise, and personality to the work — allowing us to meet clients’ needs with creativity and flexibility. Meag integrates traditional talk therapy, EMDR, and various forms of parts work to help clients process trauma, strengthen self-understanding, and nurture emotional balance. Her approach blends depth, authenticity, and humor to support meaningful change. Erbie’s work is grounded in psychodynamic and systems frameworks, offering clients a space for reflection, empowerment, and emotional growth. They are especially passionate about supporting marginalized communities and helping clients navigate identity, belonging, and life transitions. Whether you’re seeking personal growth, healing from trauma, or simply a safe space to process life’s challenges, Creative Growth Counseling is here to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll explore new ways to grow through what life brings — with compassion, curiosity, and care.

I’m a self-talk specialist and I’ve been helping people for over 20 years transform their lives through the words they speak to themselves. My approach is very relational and welcoming. Ultimately, I help people create a healthy and loving relationship with themselves that impacts every aspect of their lives. I’d be happy to guide you through this process of healing and growth as well.
Clients who enjoy working with me may be struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, or adjustment to a new way of life. Transitioning into college requires a lot of people in our modern age, and it can be intimidating and isolating. I provide psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and mindfulness to help people discover their strengths, meaning and purpose, and find life to be therapeutic itself.

I am an outpatient, private practice clinician. I work with anxiety, depression, substance use, and trauma. Or, if you’re looking for someone to talk with but you’re not sure why, give me a call.
I help students who are motivated to reduce their level of anxiety and stress, so they can not only be successful in their academic journey, but actually enjoy this amazing time in their life. I also work with clients who struggle with depression, relationship issues, social anxiety and social isolation. I offer my clients practical solutions and a warm, safe, accepting environment.
My therapeutic approach centers on the holistic well-being of individuals, with a particular focus on working with millennial female clients. My aim is to facilitate, through a strengths-based approach, your therapeutic journey towards enhanced well-being and deeper insight into your thoughts and behaviors (as well as understanding the roots of our cognitive and behavioral patterns). While my therapeutic toolbox encompasses Reiki, EMDR, IFS, and mindfulness techniques, I customize therapy sessions to suit each individual, allowing for flexibility beyond these established frameworks. I'm licensed in CO, TX, MT, OR, ID, WY, WA, and FL.

College should be about growth, not just survival. If you're struggling with unpredictable mood swings, overwhelming worry, lots of sadness, or using substances to cope, or climate anxiety, I'm here for you. I work best with students who experience intense emotional ups and downs, find themselves caught in cycles of productivity followed by inability to function, or use alcohol or other substances to manage difficult feelings and thoughts, or those who are preoccupied with climate-related grief or anxiety. I offer a space where you don't need to hide your challenges or pretend to have it all together. We'll focus on getting to know each other, creating a safe space to open up, and increasing coping strategies, such as recognizing early warning signs, building supportive routines, navigating academic pressures, developing genuine connections without relying on substances, and handling the climate crisis with more ease. Whether you're facing mood swings, anxiety, depression, substance use challenges, climate distress, or all of these, there's a path forward. Reach out today to take the first step towards change, growth and stability.
I work with teens and adults navigating life’s challenges, including anxiety, transitions, relationship struggles, self-esteem, and more. My approach is grounded in authenticity, empathy, and collaboration. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel understood, empowered, and supported as you explore what matters most to you. I welcome all identities and backgrounds and am committed to creating a space where you feel seen and respected. I often incorporate Griz, my gentle and loyal black lab, into sessions to offer a calm and comforting presence. His warmth and intuition help many clients feel more at ease, especially during difficult conversations or emotional moments. Whether he’s resting quietly nearby or offering a tail wag at just the right time, Griz adds a unique layer of connection and support to the therapeutic process.
