You might feel torn between what you want and what everyone else expects from you. You try to make the right choices, keep the peace, and be there for everyone, yet you are left feeling anxious, guilty, and unsure of your own needs. I work with women who feel stuck in relationships, career decisions, and life transitions, and who want to understand themselves more clearly and set healthier boundaries. My work is grounded in CBT, Mindfulness, EMDR, strengths-based therapy, and Trauma Informed care. I pay close attention to the mind-body connection because it often reveals what words cannot. Our goal is to help you feel more like yourself, more confident in your decisions, and more connected to what you truly want. I show up with honesty, compassion, and a little humor. I will support you, challenge you, and call out the patterns that keep showing up so you can stay focused on what matters to you. Transitions, even positive ones, often bring up feelings of being out of control. We are more likely to turn on auto pilot and rely on behaviors that don't really promote our own wellbeing. I really enjoy working with folks navigating these stages of life and truly finding peace in riding the waves of life. I have specialized training in disordered eating, anxiety and trauma. I utilize EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral therapy most often in my practice. The most important thing for me is for my client to feel connected and safe exploring their relationship with emotions within the therapeutic relationship. Whether you are totally new to therapy or are just coming back, I meet all my clients wherever they are. You don't need to be ready to make changes to start the process!
College should be about growth, not just survival. If you're struggling with unpredictable mood swings, overwhelming worry, lots of sadness, or using substances to cope, or climate anxiety, I'm here for you. I work best with students who experience intense emotional ups and downs, find themselves caught in cycles of productivity followed by inability to function, or use alcohol or other substances to manage difficult feelings and thoughts, or those who are preoccupied with climate-related grief or anxiety. I offer a space where you don't need to hide your challenges or pretend to have it all together. We'll focus on getting to know each other, creating a safe space to open up, and increasing coping strategies, such as recognizing early warning signs, building supportive routines, navigating academic pressures, developing genuine connections without relying on substances, and handling the climate crisis with more ease. Whether you're facing mood swings, anxiety, depression, substance use challenges, climate distress, or all of these, there's a path forward. Reach out today to take the first step towards change, growth and stability.

Currently accepting both virtual and in-person clients - Hi there! My name is Lindsey. I primarily come from an attachment-based, relational approach, where what matters most is genuine, authentic connection. A story well told is my favorite piece of the human experience. We all have stories full of what happens to us that is outside of our control as well as how we respond to these experiences that is within our control. As your therapist, my hope is to empower you to become the author of your own story and provide you with the support, guidance, and resources you need to pick up the pen and decide where you're going next. I particularly specialize in: ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders. I also work with those struggling with their relationships and/or challenges coming up in life (including but not limited to: school, work, navigating 20s and/or 30s, interpersonal struggles, dating, family dynamics, life stressors, identity development, and values work). I find it to truly be an honor and privilege to be right beside you as you navigate whatever challenges life throws at you. Reaching out for support can be a difficult step, and you are brave for how far you've already come. Feel free to send me a message on here or schedule your own phone consult on my website!
We are a group practice that focuses on helping people feel better in their relationships. Appointments are offered in-person at our Denver office or through Telehealth. We recognize, as a young adult, you might be feeling depressed, anxious, or stressed with all of the things you have to manage while trying to feel good about yourself in relationships. Establishing yourself as an individual in this world, separate from the places and the people you grew up with, can be hard. You can bring a lot of stuff with you. You might have the time and space to think about the hard stuff or to finally put a name to the stress and pressure you've been feeling. You want to make people happy, but you have to figure out how to feel happy yourself first. We understand this transition time in your life and how you are trying so hard to have healthy relationships, to be less worried or stressed, to feel successful, and to find happiness. Call today to hear how we can help.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) and a graduate of CU Denver’s Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I am a member of the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology and a certified Compassion Fatigue Educator, Compassion Fatigue Practitioner, and Field Traumatologist. In previous lives, I have worked with college students in South Asia, in adult ESL and refugee resettlement, and in a working windmill in my hometown of Holland, Michigan.
A need to always look put-together and strong can be destructive and exhausting. It seems like the harder you try, the harder it gets. The pressure to appear “all good” invalidates the emotions we all experience as human beings. Living in a culture of toxic positivity only reinforces the idea that negative thoughts and feelings are somehow inherently unhealthy. In therapy, outdated notions are challenged and you will not be invalidated for feeling…anything. Many of my clients have internalized beliefs about who they should and shouldn’t be- and most of these beliefs are false. Therapy is a non-judgmental space where you can truly express yourself without fear of being judged or shamed. Many of the clients I work with identify with being anxious, perfectionists who want better relationships. I also work with adults who know or think they may be on the autism spectrum. Overall, therapy can be great tool to get a better grip on life as well as for treating a specific diagnosis.. Whatever your background, your struggles, your ambitions, we will work together. Feeling better is within reach.
If you have concerns about food, body image, or are feeling disconnected from yourself, please reach out for more information on how I can help. I work with ages 12 and up, through the life span. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and/or navigating difficult life transitions or burnout. I use a person centered, eclectic approach and tailor our sessions to what will work best for you.
Hey there! I am so glad you're here. When I was growing up, I quickly learned that there were few places I could be truly myself and accepted just as I am. As a therapist, I've discovered many of us share that same story. We learn to conform and perform in response to the pressure of our world telling us who to be, and we are left confused, ashamed, and exhausted when it becomes too much to maintain as adults. In my work with clients, I offer space for you to be exactly who you are, wherever you're at, so that together, we can discover a life that feels good and enjoyable to live, based on your most authentic values and desires. In my practice, I work with members of the LGBTQ+ community, those struggling with body image and disordered eating, survivors of bullying, and folks wrestling with religious trauma. Together, we will explore your unique goals, the pain and behaviors that may be holding you back, and how to create satisfying relationships, both with others and yourself. It is a brave first step to reach out for support when you need it, especially when life feels difficult, and I would be honored to hear your story and explore working with you toward a greater sense of worth and hope. You can contact me through my website or via phone call/ text, and I will respond in 1-2 business days. I look forward to hearing from you!

Are you your own worst critic? You are the first one to point out your faults, and a part of you continues to feel like you’re not doing enough. Do you put the needs of others before your own - feeling that sick-to-your-stomach guilt when saying “no”? Do you find yourself escaping in work, hobbies, and relationships to avoid sitting with your thoughts and feelings? If these feel familiar, I am with you, and I would love to be a support for you. Let’s quiet that inner critic that can be so very loud, and make space for a voice with a bit more kindness. Let's work together towards more self-trust, self-compassion and self-esteem. I take a very relational approach to therapy. I want our time to feel like an exhale - a space where you can show up as you are, share openly, & feel understood. I enjoy bringing my personality into the space with humor and shared interests. Clients who work with me share that I am warm, thoughtful and compassionate, while also creating a space for growth. If you are interested in working together, please reach out for a free consultation. Don't see your concern listed in my profile? Let's chat and explore whether we would be a good match in working together.
