I love working with college students and young adults, helping them identify their values, where they're getting stuck, and how to go after the things they want. I specialize in working with adults with anxiety disorders including Generalized Anxiety, OCD, Social Anxiety, Panic attacks, and specific fears. I help clients overcome their anxiety by approaching, rather than avoiding, their anxiety and anxiety-provoking situations, learning tools and gaining confidence along the way. I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with experience providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and care for adolescents and adults. My work centers on mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related concerns, and ADHD — helping people navigate a wide range of mental health challenges so they can regain balance, improve daily functioning, and reconnect to what matters most. Whatever brings you here, I believe in taking a compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based approach that meets you where you are. Whether it’s your first time seeking psychiatric care or a continuation of a longer journey, I look forward to supporting you toward greater mental wellness and healing. Forming genuine human connections is something I'm passionate about, as I believe doing so is an integral part of how healing happens. In our work together, you can expect a supportive and collaborative environment where your concerns are genuinely valued. I use shared decision-making and supportive therapeutic techniques to help you better understand your symptoms and achieve your goals. Every treatment or medication management plan I build is individualized, tailored to your unique needs, experiences, and priorities. My path to becoming a psychiatric clinician was shaped by both personal and professional experiences. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the impact mental health challenges can have on individuals and families, while being raised by my grandmother taught me compassion and resilience — values that continue to guide the way I show up for my patients. Beginning my nursing career during the COVID-19 pandemic deepened that foundation. Offering supportive care during life's most challenging moments showed me how much it matters to have someone in your corner. Those experiences strengthened my commitment to creating a safe space where patients feel heard and empowered in their journey. Outside of work, I enjoy playing beach volleyball, hiking with my boyfriend and dog, listening to live music, and exploring new places.
Do you feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or impacted by past experiences or family dynamics? Are you seeking emotional safety, clarity, and practical tools to strengthen relationships, manage stress, build resilience, and move through life transitions with greater confidence, connection, and self-compassion? As a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC), I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, developmental disorders, and relational challenges. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where you feel empowered to heal, build resilience, and show up as your authentic self. Reaching out for support is a meaningful first step, and I look forward to working together to help you feel understood and inspired as you move toward meaningful change. I believe in honoring each person’s unique experiences, which allows me to be a thoughtful and supportive partner while ensuring a warm, welcoming environment where you can be yourself. My style is collaborative and genuine, and tailored to your unique needs, goals, and life experiences. This patient-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed approach helps you feel safe, understood, and empowered. While therapy can be deep and transformative, I also value authenticity and humor as meaningful parts of the healing process. My work as a therapist is grounded in deep respect for each individual and the unique experiences that shape them. I’ve always believed in approaching therapy through a trauma-informed lens, honoring every person’s story and pace, allowing me to better create a welcoming, collaborative space where individuals feel safe, supported, and encouraged to show up as their true selves. Outside of therapy, I enjoy cooking and baking; getting outside to hike, run, or ski; and catching live music when I can. I also love spending time with friends and making space for the people and activities that help me feel connected, grounded, and recharged.

Amanda’s career began working as a psychiatric nurse on the inpatient unit at Denver Health. While at Denver Health she worked with children, adolescents and adults who were in acute crisis, needing assistance with emotional and behavioral needs. In addition, Amanda has worked in home health, providing psychiatric care in the patient’s home which allowed for a smooth transition from the hospital. Amanda provides integrative care, working with the patient’s health care provider and therapist. Amanda believes medication plays an important role in wellness and mental health. Her treatment goals include providing improved quality of life and she is eager to work with patients who are motivated to make personal changes. “It is important to me to develop a therapeutic relationship with my patients to provide the best care. I respect and encourage my patients to be involved in their treatment as I feel this provides the best outcome for the patient. Being a mom, I understand the importance of working with not just the patient, but also with the family to provide the best care. I enjoy working in the out-patient setting, for it allows me to see long-term improvements in wellness and mental health”
Experienced in treating a wide range of mental health conditions, I am passionate about helping patients improve their overall well-being and quality of life. I have more than 15 years’ expertise in various settings and roles, helping adults navigate struggles with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, postpartum and related women's mental health issues, grief, and schizophrenia. I value a collaborative approach to treatment, working closely with you and partnering with medical and mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive, individualized care. Improving lives with mental health care begins through collaborative care. That’s why I empower you to take an active role in your treatment, emphasizing education, shared decision-making, and the use of evidence-based practices for diagnosis and treatment. I believe that medication is most effective when paired with therapy, healthy coping strategies, and supportive interventions, so I utilize all approaches to help you achieve your healing needs and goals. Mental health has always been a part of my life. My father worked in mental health as an Occupational Therapist, and my mother was considered a specialist in Autism, ADHD, and IDD as an Occupational Therapist. When I was 9, my brother entered the world with neurodivergence, and I had to adapt and learn quickly to support him. These lifelong experiences led me to become an advocate for patients, driving me to work collaboratively with them, treat holistically, and provide education. Outside of clinical work, I enjoy attending comic conventions, exploring new experiences with my two young children, 3-D printing projects with my husband, thrifting, collecting crystals and minerals, and crafting.
Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, but with the right one by your side, true healing can begin. As a clinical social worker specializing in individual psychotherapy, my goal is to make that process feel a little less daunting by offering a collaborative, supportive space where you can show up as you are. My work centers on older adolescents and adults navigating mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression, as well as those moving through life transitions, grief, loss, or anticipated loss. As a queer clinician, providing identity-affirming care is also central to my practice, particularly for those exploring sexuality and gender, or who face systemic barriers to self-expression and self-actualization. If you choose to work together and the connection feels right, I'm confident we can do meaningful work. My approach is strengths-based, relational, and grounded in a person-in-environment perspective, which means I consider you within the greater context of your life, your relationships, and the systems that shape your daily experience. All of my work is rooted in a social justice framework, and a deep belief in every person's inherent dignity and worth. Together, we'll explore the events and relationships — both past and present — that inform how you move through the world, building deeper self-understanding and self-compassion along the way. You can expect a warm, accepting, and responsive environment where the therapeutic approach is tailored to your unique needs and preferences. That often means blending meaningful self-reflection with a growing toolkit of practical skills and techniques you can carry with you outside of our sessions. Before becoming a therapist, nearly a decade was spent working as a professional musician, an experience that instilled a deep appreciation for the courage and vulnerability that authentic self-expression requires. Sitting with our emotions, sharing them, and exploring them can feel scary, but it can also be genuinely beautiful, opening doors to connection and self-discovery that might otherwise stay closed. At my core, connecting with people has always been what drives me. That's why authentic curiosity, empathy, and an open mind are things I bring to every interaction. My education, lived experiences, and professional background all converge in service of one goal: creating a space where you can work toward better understanding yourself and expressing who you truly are. Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me singing, traveling, or cooking and baking for the people I love. Shared meals with friends and family are something I treasure deeply, as are deep belly laughs and adventures with my husband and our dog, Bagel.

Healing is rarely a straight path, and having the right support can make all the difference. My commitment is to meet you exactly where you are, as a collaborative partner on your therapeutic journey, to help you build the tools and insight needed to move forward. Together, we'll work toward the clarity, resilience, and hope you deserve. Compassionate, humorous, and guided by you — that's the foundation of how I show up for every person I work with. Your unique goals, experiences, and needs shape the direction of our work together, because the most meaningful progress happens when care is truly tailored to you. My path to becoming a therapist began with first being a patient myself. This experience gave me a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to seek support and the profound impact attentive, caring treatment can have on a person's life. Today, that lived experience informs every session I offer. Alongside my clinical training, it grounds me in empathy and authentic presence, and I'm just as eager to learn from your story as I am to share the tools that may help you write the next chapter. Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me recharging through creative and outdoor pursuits. Drawing and painting offer a meditative outlet, while fishing and archery bring a welcome sense of patience and focus. Reading keeps my curiosity alive, and regular walks help me stay grounded, a practice I find just as valuable in everyday life as in the work we do together.
