I like to work with young people, students and adults who want to make a change to the way they interact with and think about the world. Imagine your best life...every day! We will work together to banish anxiety, fear, depression and relationship issues.
I am a board certified psychiatrist and provide combined psychotherapy and medication treatment. My patients are typically looking for therapy to address concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. They are also often looking for support with evidence-based medication treatment. I listen carefully to understand the difficulties that bring someone to treatment and to understand their goals. I am collaborative in my approach. I approach psychotherapy from a psychodynamic perspective, where the goal is to increase understanding and insight into thoughts, feelings, and behavior. When we can understand ourselves better, we can then change patterns that may be getting in our way. This type of therapy can often lead to lasting change. Please note that because my practice is telehealth only, I do not prescribe controlled substances (for example, stimulants for ADHD or medications such as Xanax or Ativan for anxiety).
There ISN’T anything “wrong” with you, you are human and you have lived experiences, some harder than others, but that is where working together to understand those parts of yourself can help! Life can be unpredictable, and at times, deeply challenging. But within each of us lies a quiet strength — Resilience. It's not about avoiding struggle, but about finding the courage to face it, adapt, and grow. In this space, we honor your story, your challenges, and your capacity to heal. Whether you're just beginning your journey or continuing along the path, we're here to walk with you — helping you reconnect with your resilience, one step at a time. At the heart of this work is a deep commitment to equity, justice, and collective healing. This is a space where all identities are seen, respected, and celebrated — where your full humanity is never up for debate. I practice from an anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and decolonized lens, acknowledging the ways systemic oppression, intergenerational trauma, and cultural erasure impact our mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Healing does not happen in isolation — it happens in relationship, in context, and in community.
My ideal client is someone who has experienced acute mental health challenges, or may be new in their therapeutic journey altogether, and is ready to move toward stability and growth. They may struggle with severe mood disorders, trauma, substance use, or daily life struggles, and feel discouraged by systems which have not met their needs. They want to understand themselves and their challenges better, build skills to improve self-sufficiency, and create a meaningful, prosperous life with sustainable supports in the community. I specialize in trauma-informed, ethical, and client-centered care grounded in inpatient mental health experience. I help clients develop insight, accountability, and practical skills to manage symptoms, strengthen resiliency, and transition successfully into community sustained living while prioritizing safety, dignity, and long-term stabilization. You do not have to navigate your healing journey alone. If you are ready to move forward and build hope for your future, I invite you to take the next step. Together, we can create a supportive, realistic path towards growth, empowerment, and lasting change.
Life can sometimes throw us into situations that seem impossible to handle. Whether it’s personal relationships, work, or financial issues, it can feel like everything is falling apart. You feel inadequate and powerless as a result, like you can't manage everything on your own. Additionally, you may feel isolated and misunderstood, experiencing shame and self-blame for circumstances beyond your control. It could be a past experience that troubles you, or a current situation that is overwhelming and unmanageable.
We offer diagnostic evaluation and medication management with psychotherapy for individuals facing ADHD, Bipolar, Major Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Schizophrenia, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Panic Attacks, and other mental health disorders. We also provide telehealth services for those who prefer to receive care from the comfort of their own home.
Do you feel emotionally drained, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you? I offer a warm, direct, and supportive space where you can be honest, learn coping skills you can use right away, and regain a sense of control. If you’re ready to feel more confident, grounded, and capable in school and in life, you may be a great fit for my practice.

As a parent of a medically complex child and a person with my own chronic health conditions, I often see people become weary when navigating the chronic illness journey. Despite being smart, determined, strong, and compassionate, they begin to feel overwhelmed by life. They feel betrayed by their body. They are unsure of what abilities they, or their loved one, will have in the future and what that means for their sense of who they are. They face disappointment, anger, or judgement from friends and family who don’t understand the challenges they are facing. I want those fellow travelers to know: you deserve to find peace even in the midst of difficulty. You deserve to define and redefine who you are. Hope is not out of your reach. If you want to navigate uncertainty without losing yourself in the process, I’d love to help you. You don’t have to continue alone. Hi There! I am a licensed Professional Counselor with over 4 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges. My approach is compassionate, warm, and collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, and Trauma-Focused. I specialize in working with Adolescents, young adults, and middle-aged adults; struggling with anxiety and depression, communication issues, and trauma survivors. Whether you are dealing with a specific issue or looking for support on your journey of personal growth, I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore, heal, and grow. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and empowered. Together, we'll work to build new tools and create meaningful change. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing occurs through a safe and authentic connection. My role is to walk alongside you- offering tools, insights, and support- as you explore what's no longer serving you and move toward the life you want to create. Therapy with me is not about "fixing" you- because you are not broken. It's about uncovering your strengths, understanding your story with compassion, and creating space for growth, clarity, and lasting change. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I want you to know that our first session is all about creating a comfortable, safe space for you to begin your journey. During our initial session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask questions to better understand what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping to work on, and any important background that can help me support you effectively. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels right—we’ll move at your pace. We’ll also talk about how I work, answer any questions you have about the therapy process, and start to outline some goals or intentions for our work together. This session is more about building connection and clarity than diving into deep work right away. Above all, my goal is to make you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning. Whether you’re brand new to therapy or returning after some time away, this is your space—and I’m here to meet you exactly where you are.
