I provide therapy for young adults and adults struggling with mental health concerns, such as anxiety and depression, personal and family trauma, stress, adjustment disorder, and relationship issues. If you are looking to process through emotions and feelings, reframe negative, defeating thoughts, or make changes to improve your wellbeing, my counseling services may be the right fit for you.
My offer to you something is simple and steady: a space where you do not have to perform, impress, or hold it all together. A space where you can exhale. I am especially drawn to working with people in transition especially college students standing on the edge of adulthood and professionalism. Transitions can shake your confidence. They can stir up old shame, old stories, old fears about not being enough. But they are also sacred turning points. They are invitations. Together, we will slow down and tune in. We will examine the narratives you’ve inherited and gently decide which ones no longer serve you. My hope for you is not that you leave therapy “better," but that you leave more fully yourself. I believe healing happens when someone sits with you long enough for you to remember your own strength. I will meet you with depth, honesty, humor and warmth. I will challenge you when needed, celebrate you when earned, and hold the mirror steady when you forget who you are. You do not have to worry alone. Everyone has a story. I look forward to hearing yours.
Open Space Counseling, Consulting & Wellness was founded in 2018 to create a safe, inclusive, and progressive space where people can move from merely surviving their lives to truly thriving. Our vision is to create a warm space that is inviting anyone who feels “other” or believes that their “stuff” will be judged—for both our clients and our employees. This includes concerns related to addiction, trauma, and LGBTQIA+, among many other things. We strive to create a laid-back, family-like atmosphere among our staff, and we believe that happy employees play a large role in ensuring that we have happy clients. Open Space CCW is a LGBTQIA+ affirming, relationship minority affirming, and racial justice-oriented therapy group.
Many clients come to see me when they feel bothered or upset by something but they don't know exactly what the problem is and find it difficult to identify. I am trained to help you figure out what is bothering you and the possible solutions for it.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my goal is to work with you to find your best path forward. My passion includes assisting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and other common struggles through challenging and reframing thoughts and developing healthy coping strategies. Appointments available via tele-health. I use an eclectic approach, drawing from cognitive behavior strategies, EMDR, DBT, and REBT, tailored to each individual so that they can achieve their personal goals. With over 15 years in the field, I am experienced in traditional counseling, coaching, crisis intervention, behavioral consultation, and working with the I/DD and neurodivergent population. Feeling ready to make some positive changes? I would be honored to work with you and help you take the first step.
Are you emotionally exhausted, experiencing unsettling transitions or struggling with feelings of depression, anxiety or grief? Are you coping with toxicity within your relationships or having difficulties adjusting to the demands of academic life? My clients learn to use their suffering as guiding information, identifying imbalances and creating a greater impetus toward life change. I serve those seeking a deeper understanding and mastery of their life journey. We will work to increase intimacy and alignment with the core of your essential, authentic self. The archetypal language taps into the universal motivational patterns inherent in both the individual and collective psyches. Utilizing astrological theory specifically allows us to see pinnacle moments of growth potential evident throughout the life cycle, allowing for more conscious use of our efforts toward self-betterment and greater management of our unique motivational personality structure. With that, this theory underlies the tenets of a meaningful and synchronistic universe which can be collaborated with to co-create a more purposeful life and to help with radical acceptance of the things we cannot change. We may use this approach, along with other interventions, to help identify and integrate the disowned parts of the self which lead to recurrent negative patterns. I also specialize in treating victims of narcissistic abuse as they heal from relational trauma and learn to seek self-validation and challenge co-dependencies, honoring one's own limits and divesting from the toxic dynamics within relationships. I have a Masters Degree in Social Work (2006) and practice as a Telehealth Licensed Clinical Social Worker in CT and PA. I also have certification in Conscious Evolution in Archetypal Cosmology via the Graduate Institute (2011), in Archetypal Astrology and Cosmology via the Institute of Transpersonal and Archetypal Studies (2019) and a Certificate in Applied Archetypal Astrology from Pacifica Graduate Institute (2023). I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTMH).

We believe that each person has the capacity to manifest or access the skills and resources that will help them feel better. You may be experiencing stress, anxiety, or depression due to a life transition, grief, trauma, or even simply a general sense of dissatisfaction that you can’t quite name. Therapy may help you identify the underlying causes and support you on your journey towards wellness. As licensed therapists, our wholistic approach to healing and wellness includes body, mind, and spirit. Therapy with our therapists will impact more than just your thoughts and emotions. We will work together on your emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and physical elements. This wholistic approach ensures that all aspects maintain balance.
Our practice uses a relational approach in addressing many concerns facing clients. We are trained to understand the transitional challenges that college students face, as well as family and relational dynamics that may influence how we feel, think and function. Learning to set boundaries to lessen overwhelm, alter high expectations of self, and improve our self worth and identity is an area of consideration in which we can provide guidance and support. Furthermore, we specialize in relationships including family, work, peer and romantic, that can be altered in ways to promote health and increased well being.
Every now and then we all need a little extra support to deal with life's challenges. Whether it be everyday stress, life transitions, the loss of a loved one, anxiety, depression, past trauma, or any other mental health concern, I will work together with you to explore thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and patterns that may be contributing to your struggles. My name is Greg Emrich, and I am a pre- licensed therapist who earned my Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Arcadia University. I have experience working with individuals of various ages dealing with a wide variety of issues. I have previous experience as a Therapeutic Support Staff and Instructional Assistant where I worked with elementary to high school aged children with autism, ODD, and other behavioral struggles. I also have experience as a University Counselor working with students ages 17-35 dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, eating disorders, and life transitions. Utilizing a holistic, multicultural, and solution focused mindset, I work together with my clients to explore all aspects of their life to define strengths, find solutions, and create effective ways to cope with life’s hardships. Seeking out assistance is a brave first step. I look forward to supporting you along your journey of healing and growth. Greg can be reached at 215-550-1796 x6 or gemrich@southpinecounseling.com
At Balanced Beginnings LLC, I collaborate with you and aid you in process of becoming whole. Life often presents moments where, for various reasons, we find ourselves entangled in conflicts affecting our mental well-being. In these instances, we are faced with a crucial choice—to either turn towards or away from a deeper understanding of ourselves. I firmly believe that every emotion and symptom serves as a key, unlocking doors through which we journey into the unconscious and shine a light into the darkest parts of ourselves. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and emotion-focused perspectives, creating a sacred space that welcomes all facets of yourself, both known and unknown. Within this space, we will allow what needs acknowledgment to rise to the surface of consciousness. Together, we will navigate these revelations with compassion and acceptance, fostering what’s needed to integrate all parts of yourself into a more unified whole.
Taking the first step to work on your mental health is hard. I view therapy as a safe space where we can work together on this puzzle. As an EMDRIA EMDR trained provider, I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma ranging from ages 18+. We utilize mindfulness-based techniques, Internal Family Systems-Informed Practices, and Rogerian Therapy at your own pace and comfort. Note: I also provide any potential clients a 15-min free consultation to determine if it's the right fit.

Hi I’m James (they/them). I am currently accepting sliding-scale clients at $10-$100 depending on what you can afford. I am doing in-person work, or virtual (in PA). I am available for short-term therapy (through April), with a focus on somatic experiencing: a type of therapy can support you to build capacity to show up in the world and in your body the way you want to. Somatic experiencing (SE) explores ways our bodies hold stress, overwhelm, and trauma patterns. By bringing awareness to these patterns and learning new tools, you can shift the patterns held in your body that are no longer serving you. Somatic experiencing is geared towards resolving trauma held in the body. It can be used to address specific events/trauma, ongoing stressors, or to build resilience in a more general way. If you aren’t interested in somatic therapy and would prefer someone to talk and process with, I’m also down for that. I draw upon my background in harm reduction, clinical herbalism, and personal experiences with physical and mental health struggles. My practice focuses on supporting queer and trans communities. I’m currently working towards a masters degree in social work from Smith College.

I have more than 12 years of experience in the field of counseling. I have had the privilege of working with people from many backgrounds and life experiences, including those with a history of mental health illnesses or conditions and co-occurring disorders. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I desire to work with people to help them find their own potential, and to pursue their goals in life. By nature, I use a holistic approach to therapy for the clients I work with which allows me to learn who my clients are as people before working with them to develop a personalized health plan based on their values, needs, and goals. This has been a valuable approach for me as a therapist over the years.
