As a psychotherapist and psychiatrist, I believe that working to understand our struggles in the context of a healing relationship can help us live life with greater wisdom, flexibility, and integrity. I also believe that we are shaped by our relationships, past and present. My work is to address internal conflicts and patterns of suffering that can leave us feeling stuck in our lives. I aim to provide a space that fosters lasting emotional growth, greater fulfillment, and deeper connection with self and others. You may see me for psychotherapy, medications, or both. I work with individuals, couples, and groups. I see our work as an opportunity to be your partner in a journey of self-discovery. Using a psychodynamic frame, I focus on helping you understand the stories that make up your past and present while also attuning to the here-and-now of our relationship. My hope is that, through this work, you may walk toward your future with authenticity and purpose. I am committed to providing compassionate, person-centered care that centers you as a unique, whole person, while recognizing the ways that that our communities and intersectional identities shape our experiences. I welcome the privilege of working with people of all races, ethnicities, spiritualities, abilities, genders, and orientations.
I work with clients on a wide range of issues including anxiety and depression, relational trauma, addiction and co-dependency, attachment, grief, body image, and relationship issues. I prioritize creating a safe and warm therapeutic environment that increases your self-awareness, self-compassion, and connection to your internal wisdom. By working collaboratively together, we can create a tailored approach to address the specific issues that you are currently struggling with. I have experience working with the LGBTQ+ population and trauma survivors (physical, sexual, neglect). I provide integrative treatment approaches that draw from trauma-informed care, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based psychotherapy, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.

It is normal facing change to experience confusion, anger, anxiety, depression, or self-doubt. From loss to relationship issues, I am passionate about helping young adults navigate complex life transitions. College is a transition for everyone, and you’re not alone if you’re struggling to find yourself during this period. In our work together, I will help you uncover inner strength, clarity, and purpose to find a path forward. I work with a range of issues, specializing in grief, illness, women’s health, cancer, and relationships & attachment. It is my honor to guide people through exploring inner narratives, addressing childhood wounds, transforming limiting beliefs, and strengthening relationships. Therapy with me is relational, collaborative, and relatable. My approach also touches on the mind-body connection, and I have training in ecotherapy. I enjoy helping people find and embrace the intersections of nature, the outdoors, and movement with mental health. Guided by radical acceptance and compassion, I believe therapy is a shared journey of self-discovery. If you are seeking healthier ways to navigate whatever life is throwing at you, you do not have to do this work alone. Please reach out for a free consultation.
Some days you’ve got it together. Other days, it feels like everything’s falling apart—classes, friendships, dating, or just trying to keep up. If stress, anxiety, or feeling down is making it tough to focus, connect with people, or feel like yourself, you’re not the only one. Therapy gives you space to talk it out—no pressure, no judgment—so you can figure out what’s really going on and start feeling more grounded and confident. I bring warmth, creativity, and a sense of humor into the room, because therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. If you’re ready to feel a little lighter—and a lot less alone—let’s get started.
You may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself or others. Maybe you’re navigating a major transition, noticing old patterns that no longer serve you, or carrying the weight of difficult life experiences. Many of my clients are immigrants, first-generation individuals, members of LGBTQ+ community or those impacted by social and political uncertainty, seeking greater connection, support in difficult times, and self-understanding.
Have you experienced trauma that's left you feeling stuck, anxious, or depressed? Are you frustrated by finding yourself repeating the same patterns of behavior, even when those behaviors are no longer serving you? I create space for you to explore and learn new ways to cope with feelings of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and past traumas. I offer a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to explore the issues coming up and learn new skills. We can work together to help you to better deal with the struggles you're facing, heal past wounds, and successfully shift the unfulfilling patterns and symptoms in your life. I draw heavily from cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and psychodynamic techniques, with an emphasis on both practical tools as well as attention to deeper emotions. I also intertwine elements of other modalities including mindfulness & meditation techniques. I also am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). No matter the concern, I use an individualized approach to help you in the unique way you need. I’d love to discuss how I can be of service and I offer free 30 minute phone consults so that you can explore what working together might look like and see if it feels like a good fit.
