Female-first psychiatric care. If you’re navigating a new season of life—trying to conceive, pregnancy, or perimenopause—or looking for support with treatment of a specific condition such as PMS or PMDD, PCOS, ADHD, depression, or anxiety, I want to offer you the expertise, compassion, and genuine care you deserve. I am a Harvard-trained and board-certified psychiatrist specializing in women's mental health and reproductive psychiatry. I take a conservative approach to medication, taking the time to listen to you and help you make empowered decisions about your mental health. I provide medication management and psychotherapy through a female-first frame: putting you, your needs, and your wellness at the forefront of our work together. I view my work as an opportunity to help women feel seen and supported through the most transformative stages of their lives. My patients’ unique needs are at the forefront of my practice: hearing them when others have not listened, acknowledging their challenges when others have downplayed them, and empowering them to take control of their health, wellness, future, and family. Our practice specializes in treating eating disorders in young adults, offering a compassionate and evidence-based approach rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). We provide individualized care for clients struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and other disordered eating behaviors. We also work with Anxiety and Mood disorders. Clients learn to identify and challenge distorted thoughts around food, body image or other presenting stressors. DBT techniques are used to build emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. The integrative approach supports young adults in developing healthier coping strategies, improving self-esteem, and fostering lasting recovery in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment.

I work best with teens and young adults who are ready to explore what’s beneath the surface—whether that means navigating tough emotions, building confidence, or learning how to connect more meaningfully with others. My ideal clients are curious, open to trying new things, and appreciate a space where creativity, humor, and authenticity are valued. Whether you're looking to better understand yourself or obtain support while navigating a challenging time in your life, we can work together to move toward insight, balance, and lasting growth. I offer counseling rooted in a person-centered approach, blending creative arts, geek therapy strategies, ACT, CBT, and Narrative Therapy. I help clients express themselves, build coping skills, and rewrite unhelpful patterns—all in a space that values authenticity, creativity, and connection. College a new world. Young adults often begin to experience anxiety and depression for the first time there, while some have been struggling for years. Either way, dealing with these feelings with experienced help is often the most effective way to approach emotional issues. I’ve worked with many college students on anxiety, depression, the stress of academics, social issues, family conflict, anxiety about careers, and other issues that come up out of this huge change. I help students learn to relate to themselves with curiosity and compassion, quieting that inner voice of self criticism, which will then allow a transition to change and growth. If we both think it’s helpful, I can also intervene with parents, in order to help them understand your struggles better, and have more supportive, constructive family discussions. I also teach mindfulness skills, which helps to cope with overwhelming feelings.

I’m a bilingual Latinx therapist (LCSW in NY) passionate about supporting college students as they navigate the unique challenges of this stage of life. Whether you’re adjusting to a new environment, managing academic pressures, navigating relationships, or exploring your identity, I offer a warm and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. As a Latinx therapist, I bring cultural awareness and sensitivity to my work, understanding the complex experiences of students from immigrant, Latinx, and underserved communities. I use evidence-based and culturally responsive approaches, like CBT, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care, to help students develop coping strategies, build confidence, and thrive both personally and academically. My goal is to collaborate with you so you feel supported, empowered, and ready to succeed on your own terms.

Hi, I’m Megan—Licensed Therapist (LCSW) Starting therapy in college can feel overwhelming—maybe you’re navigating new independence, academic pressure, identity questions, or a recent breakup. Or maybe you're simply looking for someone steady to talk to. Whatever brings you here, I aim to make therapy feel approachable, collaborative, and actually helpful—not stiff or one-sided. I work with students managing a range of concerns, including anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, ADHD, and relationship or family stress. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and rooted in trauma-informed care. I have a particular interest in working with students who are high-functioning on the outside but feeling overwhelmed or stuck internally—those who are used to keeping it together for everyone else but could use some space to focus on themselves. Whether you’re sorting through a situationship, burnout, or just trying to figure out who you are in this stage of life, I offer a nonjudgmental space to reflect, feel supported, and build lasting change. Humor and real talk welcome.

If you're reading this you've already taken the first step towards improving your mental health. Congratulations! Life can be overwhelming, I believe we all have a mental backpack we fill with the pebbles and rocks created by the stress and experiences in our life. Eventually the straps fray, it gets heavy, and your back begins to ache. My goal is to help lighten the load! Therapy's an invaluable tool in learning to cope with life's stresses. Through a dynamic of trust and collaboration I strive to create a warm, judgment-free, safe space to explore yourself and the world around you. At your own pace (with some nudges along the way) you’ll gain the self-knowledge and skills needed to live a more stable and fulfilled life. Finding the right therapist can be challenging, and not every clinician is the right fit. I always encourage people to reach out for a free 15 minute consultation by email or through Alma if you think I might be the right person for you
