Therapists for college students near New York University
My ideal clients are students who have a tremendous reservoir of resources in managing their school-work life balance, despite having experienced a traumatic incident in their life. These students are often those who have experienced a sexual assault and noticed that it has made it difficult for them to stay on top of their workload, connect with others, and more. Other students I enjoy working with are those who are explored their identity in terms of sexual orientation, intimate relationships, and gender identity. These types of students are often very insightful and want to share their thoughts on a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere.
I help young adults with anxiety and depression work towards managing their stress, finding their purpose and living their best life. In addition to counseling, I am an Art Therapist and can utilize creative means for self-expression, coping and self-exploration.
