I partner with individuals offering compassionate, trauma-informed care that promotes healing and personal growth. Partnering as a relational helper, I hope to expand from problem-focused stories to those of strength and resilience, matched with empowerment and a clearer sense of agency, working together to create the desired changes. I have experience working with individuals, from diverse backgrounds. My areas of work have included but are not limited to struggles around anxiety, depression, identity concerns, self-esteem issues, trauma, life transitions, relational issues, and daily stressors. I use an eclectic approach, drawing from various practices such as relational therapy, narrative therapy, client-centered therapy, attachment theory, some features of dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamic framework, and I approach therapy through a mindfulness, justice-orientated, culturally sensitive, queer-affirmative and a trauma informed lens. I believe in a relational process in which finding a therapist that is a "good fit" as the groundwork for a supportive, transformative process. I believe that every individual can examine their life's journey and own their story; all while strengthening self-compassion and working to navigate who and how to be in relationships. Stepping into the therapeutic process is the first movement towards self-discovery and growth! "Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do" -Brene' Brown

Hi there! I am a CBT trained therapist with extensive experience in effective treatment strategies. I work collaboratively with clients to determine what is working well for them and what may need to be adjusted to live a life of emotional well-being and relational satisfaction. If you are unsure of your goal, I will be there to help identify your goals. I believe in the power of therapy to help people heal and grow. I have a special place in my heart to work with individuals who experienced trauma in their life. I truly find it rewarding to be invited in the journey to process the traumatic experiences and to create the meaning. After experiencing multiple parts of the world and meeting with people from diverse backgrounds, I have naturally developed cultural sensitivity. It truly helps me stay open-minded and nonjudgmental. With my concentrated CBT training and a touch of mindfulness, you will learn to pursue a balanced lifestyle and happiness with a healthy life perspective. You’ve learned how to hold it all together. From the outside, you might look like you have everything in place but inside, you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted from always showing up for everyone else. Maybe you’ve spent years pushing your feelings down, keeping the peace, or taking responsibility for things that were never fully yours. And now, your body is telling you something needs to change. I work with hard-working women who are ready reconnect with themselves in a deeper, more meaningful way. Together, we'll slow down the present, process the past, and find your power in the future. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and approachable. I believe therapy should feel human, meaningful, and supportive. If you’re ready to create space for yourself and start feeling more like you again, I’d love to connect. Reach out to schedule a free consultation so we can talk through what you’re looking for and see if this feels like the right fit.

I am a clinical social worker and expressive art therapist. I'm passionate about art and mental health education and use both to support people as they develop skills and learn therapeutic tools to manage symptoms. In individual therapy, I enjoy working with young adults to help them develop positive relationships with themselves. I want to learn about you, how you think, how you learned those things, and what truly energizes you. Therapy can focus on processing the past using art and EMDR while also focusing on falling in love with the present. My speciality is using expressive art in therapy. Whether you believe yourself to be creative or not, my hope is to guide you through different ways to use art for relaxation and self-expression in group, individual, and family sessions. Sometimes words are not enough.

Hi, I help young adults manage their mental health medications via telehealth, and provide education about balancing medication use with a healthy lifestyle. Medication is not a quick-fix, or an all encompassing solution, but it can help! Unfortunately, because we are currently telehealth only, we are not prescribing stimulants (for ADHD treatment or narcolepsy) to new patients. We can continue existing prescriptions if patient has a PCP that they see yearly. Please contact me or sign up for a new patient appointment on my website if you feel that our practice might be right for you.

About me: I have a strong belief in therapy because I've successfully used it. I've had my own personal exploration into suffering and I've made my way out of these fogs by utilizing the support of others. It is my experience that no one lives their best life alone. Connection has the capacity to offer regulation and engender strength. I honor my sense of humanity that allows me to tend and befriend others, and take joy in my sense of playfulness that can bring a smile or a laugh to someone at the just the right moment. About my work: I work through an integrated lens, currently drawing on EFT, neuroscience, mindfulness, and positive psychology to explore how lifestyle, relationships, and early experiences shape our wellbeing. I also use the power of storytelling to help reframe the limiting narratives we carry about ourselves. Lately, I've been doing meaningful work with clients navigating OCD tendencies, using approaches including ERP and ACT. I am also working to expand my expertise through continued education in somatic approaches, chronic illness and premenstrual disorders, to support the full complexity of what my clients carry. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, to help people trust themselves again, and to help them recommit to life — through the big things and the small. About my credentials: I graduated from Lesley University with a MA in Mental Health Counseling in 2018. I am a Massachusetts licensed mental health counselor with experience in a variety of outpatient therapeutic settings. I welcome your questions.

College is an exciting time though it can be an overwhelming one as well. College comes with its own unique set of challenges - increased workload, the need for greater time management, increased independence, and trying to find a good work-life balance, to name a few. College life can bring on new anxiety or exacerbate pre-existing anxiety, and managing this and coping in healthy and effective ways can prove difficult at times. Anxiety and stress can also trigger new or worsen pre-existing Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs), like Excoriation Disorder (skin picking) and Trichotillomania (hair pulling). If you are a female student struggling with anxiety and need help managing it, and/or are having a difficult time with BFRBs, I would love to work with you. Together we will work on identifying stressors/triggers as well as strategies and skills you can use to better manage your anxiety and/or your BFRB. I look forward to meeting you!

Colorful Resilience is a Queer-Afro-Latina-owned outpatient mental health services office in West Springfield, Massachusetts. We proudly provide therapy – primarily, but not exclusively – to BIPOC, LGBTQ+, First Generation, and immigrant folks. For clients in the Western MA area, we offer in-person consultations and virtually for those all across Massachusetts. Due to a lack of clinical representation and cultural competency in the mental health field, the BIPOC, LGBTQ+, First Generation, and immigrant communities have historically been underserved. Colorful Resilience hopes to remedy such disparity by ensuring all our team members are representatives of the communities we serve, fearless allies, or both. Not only utilizing education but also lived experiences to provide the most relevant behavioral health services.

I specialize in supporting individuals through some of life's most tender and transformative moments: major life transitions, chronic health concerns, bereavement, shifts in identity, pregnancy and postpartum well-being and more. These are experiences that can shake us to our core — and they deserve more than a surface-level approach. Healing here doesn't have to look one way. Each session draws from somatic awareness, mindfulness, creativity, & talk therapy — tailored to what feels right for you. Through this whole-person approach, we'll work together to reconnect with your resilience, release what no longer serves you, and find your way back to yourself — toward peace & fulfillment My work is grounded in my training as an Art Therapist (ATR) and Psychotherapist (LPC/LCMHC), alongside study in somatic and polyvagal work, mindfulness-based practices, and attachment theory. I'd love to support you through whatever you're carrying. Please don't hesitate to reach out.
