Hello! My name is Laci. I am a compassionate, dedicated, analytical, and team oriented therapist with a lifelong passion towards helping and uplifting others. My passion stems from my own childhood and my difficulties with my mental health and self confidence. I believe that everyone is capable of positive change no matter a person’s age, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, and overall background. It is up to those in the helping professions, like myself, to assist in lighting that spark for change. I have experience providing individual and family therapy to clients ages 5 to 18 years of age. I also have experience working with folks who are unhoused and disabled. In practice, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-focused Therapy to serve a wide variety of clients.
I work with those seeking support with relationships, family dynamics, &/or identity development. I provide both short- and long-term therapy work, and aim to be both dynamic and compassionate, providing a space that feels supportive and insight-oriented. I do my best to meet you where you are, and help you move toward the growth that feels empowering. Mon-Thurs @ 9-4pm. (Telehealth in VT, FL, and MA.)

I have a great deal of knowledge in area resources and connecting people with services and/or supports who may be beneficial. I've been working with young adults for the better part of the last decade within the context of their homes, schools, communities and families. I have also been supervising young adults as well as older adults in juggling school work and family with their career ambitions. Fostering growth for these folks, including in many marginalized communities is, to me, an incredibly important part of building lives worth living, and growing the strength of our communities. As a white cis-gendered queer therapist I have done my own work on my identity that has allowed me to see and show up for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folks, as well as supporting other white folks in this work. My practice is rooted in anti-racism, anti-oppression, and health equity. Our mental health is not only our individual biologies and brains, we are shaped by the systems we exist within and this has a direct correlation to our physical well being as well. What you need in therapy may or may not relate to issues of oppression, and it is important for those for whom this is relevant to know there is a space to been seen and acknowledged for the ways this impacts your life. Growth and transitions can be incredible, and also very stressful. If anything you've read here or seen in my profile resonates. I would encourage you to reach out to see if we would be a good fit for the support you are seeking.
I work collaboratively with my clients to foster resiliency, promote meaningful growth, develop their innate strengths, and empower them to set and achieve their goals. My trauma-informed practice draws from solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and family systems theories, and therapy is tailored to the individual growth of those with whom I work. Together we will unearth negative thoughts and behavior patterns that may be holding you back. I am looking forward to helping you expose the beauty that already exists within you.

Codi is a psychotherapist with experience working working adolescents and adults seeking support managing life changes. Codi practices from a relational, client centered approach. In addition to a B.A. in Feminist and Gender Studies from Colorado College, Codi holds a Masters of Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work. They come to APP with previous experience in access to higher education, direct service with incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people, and community mental health. Codi sees therapy as an opportunity for people to sit in the nuance of being human. They are eager to explore the space between therapist and client, centering my work in a psychodynamic approach. Their work is informed by a critical lens that helps clients examine systems and institutions of power and the roles those structure play in our suffering and healing. They are interested in creating a practice that can center the acknowledgment and influence of race, and other identities, in relationship. They hope to hold space for clients to explore, create and recreate themselves.
Our group psychotherapy practice offers help with anxiety, depression, relationships, sleep (including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia), eating disorders, body image, grief, addiction, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Our clients tend to be people who are successful in many ways and feel overwhelmed, lost, alone, or in need of some self-esteem building. We particularly love working with college students because by nature they are figuring out who they are and want to be, and the work we do together can be such an important and exciting part of that process. We welcome people from all backgrounds and are LGBTQ+-affirming. Please feel free to reach out - we would love to get to know you!
