I have daytime and evening openings on most weekdays! I approach therapy holistically and use an eclectic mix of therapeutic modalities, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. My work is grounded in the belief that we all possess innate strengths that can guide us toward healing. Together, we will work to uncover your strengths and create pathways toward greater well-being. We have a couple dogs in the office and I am always happy to incorporate animal-assisted therapy into my work! Some of my other approaches include CBT, DBT, existential psychology, motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based therapy, meditation, body-oriented psychotherapy, and spirituality. We can work together to find a course of therapy that works best for you, at your own pace.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Norwell, MA

I am a licensed mental health counselor. My goal is to support clients with their mental health as well as stress management, relationship issues, and finding the appropriate services. Therapy does not have to solely be for people in crisis. Being proactive with your mental health and attending therapy can have long-lasting benefits. My first goal when starting with a client is building rapport. In order for therapy to be effective, there needs to be a mutual trust between the client and therapist. I primarily use a cognitive behavioral and person centered approach to therapy. Although every session typically includes “talk therapy,” I also try to use a variety of interventions. I also have a therapy dog in my office who loves to cuddle on the couch with patients.

I am a master's-level clinician with a Master's of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College. I am a dedicated and compassionate counselor with a strong background and experience working with adolescents, families, and students in school-based settings. My professional journey has been deeply rooted in a passion for guiding individuals toward personal growth, self-discovery, and empowerment. Driven by a lifelong passion for helping individuals—especially adolescents and young adults—navigate life’s challenges, I aim to create a supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their identities, embrace their strengths, and grow into the best version of themselves. Over the years, I have supported adolescents and families through various challenges, helping them build resilience, improve communication, and develop healthier coping strategies. I believe that true growth and personal power come from within. My approach to counseling is solution-focused, strengths-based, and client-centered, and I encourage individuals to explore their strengths and resources while working collaboratively to identify solutions to their challenges. I strive to create a safe and affirming space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported in their journey. I'm excited to support you on your path and witness the strength you possess from within.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in treating adolescents and young adults. I have almost 25 years of experience working with individuals and families. I love supporting college students who are in a unique position of figuring out who they are and how they want to be in the world. It is a time of great transition and growth. I specialize in treating eating disorders and body image, and I am experienced in treating anxiety, depression, relationship problems, life transitions, stress, and addiction. I balance insight and understanding with skills and practical tools for change. I believe that people always have the capacity to grow and change. We’ll work together to determine your goals for treatment and to develop a plan that meets those goals. I believe psychotherapy is most effective within the context of a trusting relationship, and I work hard to establish a real connection without judgement with each individual. People describe me as warm, compassionate, supportive, and I have also been known to be direct and humorous. I look forward to the opportunity to help you to be the best person you can be.

I work with teens (15+) and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, medical issues, grief and more. I have a special interest in working with individuals or their loved ones as they navigate significant illness, grief/loss or other issues stemming from receiving complex medical care. Medical journeys are often scary and fraught with obstacles, and I strive to be a therapeutic partner as you or a loved one find your way through.

Welcome! It takes a lot of guts to look for a therapist and by doing so you’re already starting the hard work of healing. Every part of yourself is safe to exist in my therapy office: the scared, the angry, the perfectionist, the beautiful. My goal is to allow your whole self to feel seen and understood, without judgment. Clients have described me as approachable and having a healthy dose of humor. I lead my sessions with a warm, friendly, and empathetic demeanor. I’ll laugh with you, cry with you, challenge you, and support you through your difficult moments. I aim for our work to be a partnership. Together we can find ways to tame your harsh inner critic and establish skills to work through the hard stuff. We will approach your thoughts, feelings, and actions with a sense of curiosity and compassion. I specialize in art therapy and would love to utilize art in your therapeutic journey. Sometimes there aren't words to describe how you’re feeling and art can help find the words you've been struggling to say. Don’t worry, you don't have to be a talented artist – but it can be nice to have a physical representation of your emotions.

I identify as a neurodiverse (ND) autistic psychologist. Like many, I discovered at midlife I’m on the “invisible” end of the spectrum. I now specialize in assisting other ND/autistic adults & their allies as they a) explore identity/diagnosis, b) cope with ongoing life adjustments/ND burnout & c) make informed choices about how/when it is safe to “unmask.” I help clients: identify personal life/career-related challenges, build upon strengths, & make constructive changes to create a ‘right-sized’ life. I’m a multicultural-educated ally & offer affirming space for marginalized folx (BIPOC, LGBTQAI+, ENM/polyamory, differently-abled). 21+ years of clinical expertise in: private practice, Harvard Medical School postdoc, Penn State & Illinois State University counseling & career centers. I’m passionate about meeting clients where they’re at & providing psychoeducation. I encourage self-advocacy, clear communication, healthcare providers’ collaboration, & improved social support networks. We co-create sacred space that welcomes authentic sharing, tears, & laughter. I have an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) work with me; a calm sweet cat. Many people find a therapy animals’ presence comforting for co-regulation. Please share good days/times to reach you. I look forward to meeting you & learning about your journey! Warm regards, Dr. Naomi Dogan

As a psychotherapist, I've had the privilege of helping clients navigate a wide variety of challenges. At its foundation, therapy is relational; it encourages immense vulnerability and asks us to place our trust in someone entirely new. The most rewarding sessions can emerge from intimate, yet difficult, conversations. For individuals and couples seeking services, I specialize in sexual health concerns, relational problems, life transitions, men’s issues, trauma, and any co-occurring anxiety and depression that may accompany these topics. When I meet with clients, I hope to nurture a safe, warm, and affirming environment. I approach clinical work through a non-pathologizing lens and value the knowledge, wisdom, and intuition that are developed through one's experiences. I operate from a place of empathy, curiosity, and cultural humility when navigating every interaction. In pursuit of providing the best mental health care, I completed an advanced certificate in sexual health and sex therapy at the University of Michigan. For individuals and couples wanting to address sexual health topics, I welcome conversations related to non-monogamy/polyamory, intimacy/connection, sexual shame/empowerment, desire discrepancies and low desire, sexual functioning concerns, and trauma. As a queer clinician, I am committed to improving the mental health of the LGBTQ+ community, yet I invite clients of any background to explore services. Not all people come to therapy with clear intentions for this work; some merely sense that they may benefit from additional support. Wherever you are in this journey, I hope to join you along the way.

Finding a therapist who really understands you can make all the difference. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, seen, and accepted for who you are. My goal is to create a space where you can drop the mask and work through what’s holding you back—with compassion, humor, and zero judgment. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or just feeling stuck, I’ll meet you where you’re at and help you build the tools to move forward. As a trauma-focused therapist, I use EMDR, TF-CBT, and other trauma models to help kids, teens, and adults feel more grounded, confident, and in control of their lives. I work closely with parents using evidence-based strategies to strengthen connections and support your child’s growth at home. I’m also passionate about providing LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC affirming care—everyone deserves a space that feels inclusive. You don’t have to face everything on your own. Let’s work together to figure out what healing looks like for you.

I understand how anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, grief, ADHD, difficult relationships, major life transitions, medical conditions, and other mental health challenges often impede one’s ability to fully engage in work, school, hobbies, and relationships. With over 25 years of experience, I provide the support and treatment needed to feel better and engage in a meaningful and enjoyable life. My therapeutic approach includes acceptance, warmth, humor, and skill to create a safe and secure space for thoughts and feelings to be explored freely, healing to occur, strengths to be recognized, and personal goals to be achieved. My clinical work uses many therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, expressive therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness tools. I am readily available for a complimentary connection via email, phone, online or in-person to discuss my practice further. I look forward to hearing from you to provide additional information and detail about how I can be of support.

I invite you to “get curious” about yourself and what has contributed to your current state of being. Curiosity is essential to finding meaning and connection with others and ourselves. I will work with you to open up to uncertainty and learn to coexist with your uncomfortable feelings, rather than avoid them. You are not a problem to be fixed; you are a whole, complex, and amazing person; let’s unlock that potential. I believe theater and improvisation can be wonderful ways to stay present, take risks, explore parts of ourselves, and connect with ourselves and others. If appropriate, I will use my background in Drama Therapy to help you reach your goals. That being said, one approach does not fit everyone and I work from a wide range of modalities. I look forward to participating in this exploration with you and helping you reach your goals!
