I currently hold licenses in Massachusetts as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) as well as a School Social Worker/School Adjustment Counselor. I hold a certificate of Clinical Treatment of Relational and Multi-Contextual Trauma. I have over 10 years of professional experience and have worked in a variety of settings with a diverse population including those experiencing depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, foster care, adoption, grief/loss, poverty, homelessness and incarceration. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, elderly, couples and families. I utilize multiple treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I believe that therapy looks different for each person and I strive to provide a supportive and non-judgmental therapeutic setting based on compassion, trust, and honesty where we can work together to utilize your own individual strengths to reach your goals and to be able to better manage the stressors in your life.
Hi, my name is Alicia! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Narrative Therapist. I work with clients to identify the effects that problems are having in their lives. I offer a space for people to feel empowered while exploring their values and working toward their goals. I believe when people have the chance to be seen as a person rather than a problem, they are able to create change in their life in meaningful ways. I support my clients by shifting away from blame and addressing the problem directly. I believe therapy is a collaborative process between client and therapist. I bring curiosity, connection, acceptance, and humor into the therapeutic space. I think all people are unique and valuable—Everyone deserves a safe therapeutic space to be heard and appreciated for who they truly are. Feeling genuinely heard is the first step towards sustainable change.

Are you struggling with procrastination and difficulty getting your work done? Or maybe you can't sleep or feel constantly exhausted. I support students looking for support and practical tools to help them manage the pressure of school and applying for jobs. I have extensive experience working with college students here in California.
I love clients who are curious about themselves and their relationships and are just looking for a safe place to talk. I bring much the same warmth, humor, and energy to my work that I do to my friendships. I'll remember your birthday and the name of the pet you had growing up, and the fact that you were anxious about that text you got last week. If you're anxious about therapy, or have had a bad experience in the past, that's a great place to start, and if you're ready to dive in, we can do that too.
My treatment focus is on neurodivergent issues and gifted learners. Therapeutic style is evidenced and strength based, multiculturally sensitive, solutions oriented, client centered, and collaborative. You are the expert on you. My role is to facilitate and support an awareness of how to implement changes to overcome unhelpful patterns in thinking and decision making. I strive to see the whole person not just a list of symptoms. Understanding your unique background is key because therapy is not a cookie-cutter approach. Currently in network with Aetna, Kaiser Permanente, Lyra Health, SpringHealth, Sutter EAP, and Cigna in certain states. I am a LMFT in California, Hawaii, Massachusetts, and Virginia, LPCC in California, and Registered Out-of-State Telehealth Provider for Florida, South Carolina and Vermont.
Dr. Sean Paul, Psy.D., is a clinical psychologist who specializes in trauma, anxiety, and helping individuals navigate stressful or demanding periods of life. He brings a grounded, real-world understanding of resilience, emotional coping, and the challenges people face during and after difficult or overwhelming experiences. Over time, Dr. Paul’s private practice has expanded to serve individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about their direction in life, not just those in formal high-stress professions. He works with adults navigating anxiety, the impact of past experiences, and major life transitions. He specializes in trauma-related concerns, combining clinical expertise with a practical understanding of how people adapt, cope, and rebuild after difficult events. Dr. Paul’s approach is collaborative and respectful, recognizing that clients are the experts in their own lives. He helps people clarify what matters most to them and take an active role in shaping their therapeutic goals, while providing professional guidance, structure, and steady support. His services include trauma-focused therapy for individuals impacted by difficult or distressing experiences, support for people in high-stress or high-responsibility roles including but not limited to veterans and first responders, treatment for individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or dissatisfied with their current life direction, and collaborative, client-guided treatment planning that aligns therapy with each person’s values and goals.
My intention as a psychotherapist is to create a safe and supportive environment in which people can learn and share more about themselves, and in so doing, ease their suffering and create possibilities of positive movement and change in their lives. I am grounded in a relational and psychodynamic approach. This means that I am attuned to building a respectful interactive relationship, and that I bring an awareness of the deep impact of the past on people's present lives. My practice is diverse, with a specialization in trauma focused psychotherapy. Other areas of expertise are the treatment of depression, grief and loss, anxiety, relational issues, emotional regulation, and difficulties with family of origin.
I consider the relationship between client and therapist one of the most important factors in therapy. As a therapist, my goal is to create a comfortable, non-judgmental space so I can assist others in exploring negative patterns in their lives and help them develop new tools to foster positive coping skills. I utilize a holistic approach to therapy, with special focus on the body and mind and how they interact. As a registered yoga teacher, my treatment approach places emphasis on turning inward and reconnecting with the body to help release stored emotions. I use a trauma-informed approach to life issues with clients and incorporate mindfulness skills, somatic movement, and breathwork into my therapy practice. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, PTSD, and mood disorders. Additionally, I work with clients who are experiencing grief and loss, life transitions, addiction, caregiver stress, interpersonal/relationship problems, and codependency.
Individuals we work with often come for Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, behavioral and emotional issues, conduct disorders, Adjustment and eating disorders, Bipolar, phobias and Dementia. Modalities includes Individual, family, group and couple sessions. Treatment goals are directed by the client’s motivation and shared understanding of what “healing” looks like to them. Visit options includes in person and virtual means. And clinic opens in the evenings and weekends as well, to better meet the needs of the communities served.
