Homestead Healing LLC
As a licensed mental health counselor, my goal is to create a warm space for my clients. I work to support clients with ongoing mental health needs, life changes, and managing stress. Therapy is built on a foundation of trust, which is my first goal when working with you. I primarily use a cognitive behavioral and person-centered approach to counseling utilizing a variety of interventions with a bit of humor.
A Balanced Self
We are a holistic and integrative counseling + wellness practice that strives to assist you in finding the root cause for what you have been experiencing, thus bringing you back to balance. We believe that there are so many factors that contribute to dysfunction in our health, and if one aspect is off then that's when we start to experience symptoms. These symptoms - whether a warm body temperature, a headache, or anxiety - are energetic shifts in our body that alert us. Through the process of counseling, wellness programs, specific approaches, and other offerings we provide, you will explore these dysfunctions, get to the root of them, and ultimately become a more balanced self. Wherever you are at in this moment, that's where we will begin. Together we will uncover, strengthen, and uplift the loose pieces that create who you are. Just remember: the anchor will always be there and can be used anytime throughout the process
Mindful Healing Counseling
We provide solution-focused, strength-based therapy with a critical focus on current and future growth and development. We use an individualized approach based on a range of treatment modalities along with valuable skill building. We strongly believe that when we are given the tools to be successful, every individual absolutely can and will be their best selves!

If you have any questions about fees or insurance, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m here to help.**
Muse Psychotherapy
Searching for a therapist can be one of the most difficult parts of coping, healing, and self-empowerment, because it's the first thing you must do. You must force yourself out of your comfort zone and out of whatever routine you've had before, to take the initiative and embark on a new path. When we're at our best, stepping out of our comfort zones can be daunting; when we're feeling vulnerable, it can seem nearly impossible. No matter what prompted you to take this first step, I'd like to be there for your second. I have a deep affinity for those affected by trauma, including sexual assault and combat, as well as extensive experience and desire to work with those with perinatal issues (such as post-partum depression), issues of gender and racial justice, childhood and teenage transitions, depression, and chronic illness. My therapeutic approach focuses on creating an empathic environment where you feel safe and relaxed, and where we can use every tool available to brighten your present and empower your future. This may involve playing a game or taking a walk as often as we spend time in the office.

It's wonderful you're taking the step to care for your mental health! I have a heart for college and graduate students and understand the unique stressors of university life, such as academic pressure, social anxieties, and the transition to independence. I am also passionate about helping individuals explore how their cultural and ethnic identities and upbringing interplay with their mental well-being, including the experiences related to cultural identity and navigating multiple cultural spaces. My background as a teacher, HR professional, writer, wife, mother, and therapist has broadened my empathy and understanding of diverse experiences. I graduated with a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Northwestern University and am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), a well-researched method for trauma. I offer a collaborative therapeutic approach, and utilize many researched methods tailored to your individual needs. I understand that family history and early relationships can significantly impact mental health, so I often begin by exploring these areas. Together, we'll create a plan to achieve your goals. I enjoy working with adults of all ages, but I have a special fondness of college and graduate students during this unique time of exploration and adjustment. Please reach out, and let's figure things out together!

I work with adults dealing with challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, stress, & executive dysfunction. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to fit your unique needs. I draw from a variety of evidence-based techniques to help you better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges and build on your strengths. As a queer, autistic/neurodivergent, & disabled therapist, I am especially passionate about supporting people within these communities in a way that is respectful, understanding, and empowering. You are the expert on your own life, & my role is to support you as we explore what you need to heal, grow, & move forward.

Eating disorders leave us feeling out of control, insecure, and unfulfilled. You may be fed up with constant restriction, over eating, or both; feeling disconnected and self-conscious about your body; or overwhelmed with strong feelings and unsure of how to manage them. You might not even remember a time when it didn’t feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you’re ready for some relief. You’re ready to heal your relationship with food. You’re ready to feel better in your own skin. Most of all, you’re ready to feel empowered and confident to take control of your life. Clients come to me looking for a therapist who treats the whole person, not just the eating disorder. Sessions with me are comfortable and interactive. Together, we increase mindfulness of the root cause of the eating disorder, assess your personal values and goals, and help you find fulfillment in the life you want to live. And we always go at your pace. As an experienced eating disorder therapist, I believe that everyone has the inner wisdom they need to heal. I can help you access it. You don’t have to continue living with the eating disorder, and you don’t have to do it alone. Call me today for a free consultation. I can’t wait to hear from you.
