I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in addressing trauma, stress, anxiety, and adjustment concerns in adults. My practice focuses on helping individuals process difficult emotions and live more meaningful lives. I believe that therapy is most effective when it is tailored to the individual needs, strengths, and values of each client. Together, we will work to identify your treatment goals, further develop existing strengths, learn new skills, and pursue what is most important to you. I aim to create a non-judgmental space and to be authentic and compassionate in my work. I am dedicated to providing culturally responsive care and welcome clients of diverse backgrounds and identities. My approach integrates cognitive and behavioral principles (such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness) and uses evidence-based trauma-focused therapies (e.g., cognitive processing therapy, prolonged exposure). I tailor my psychotherapy services to meet each client’s individual goals and values. Please contact me to learn more and see if we might be a good fit.

My work is relationally based, and I additionally integrate the approaches of Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which are both mind/body modalities. These approaches have been transformational for myself and many clients I have witnessed because they offer an orientation of radical openness and compassionate inquiry about all parts of your experience.

Accepting new clients on Tuesday evenings. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or misunderstood while navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, neurodevelopmental differences, trauma, or life transitions such as school or work. At times, you might feel disconnected from your body or emotions or caught in negative self-beliefs. I offer a supportive, collaborative space to build practical tools, deepen self-understanding, and feel more grounded, confident, and hopeful as you move forward. I use a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to help clients understand their inner experiences and build coping skills. I integrate EMDR, CBT, and DBT with mindfulness, breathwork, yoga, journaling. As a registered yoga teacher, I bring an embodied lens to therapy, helping clients reconnect with their bodies as a source of information and safety. My intention is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore and accept your unique self, navigate life challenges, and heal from emotional pain. I tailor interventions to each person, helping you build confidence, challenge negative beliefs, and develop skills for future stressors. I create a warm environment and empower my clients to take back control of their lives. I encourage an active therapy experience where clients learn skills, set weekly goals, and complete homework to build a sense of independence and self-confidence. Whether you're struggling with your self-esteem, anxious thoughts, work stress, relationships, general motivation or more, I can help! My style is a blend of the following treatment approaches: CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Holistic Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy and Trauma-Informed Therapy. I am always seeking out trainings, books, and podcasts to inform these approaches and provide up-to-date psychoeducation and resources. I look forward to helping you explore and overcome your struggles with compassion, good humor, and evidenced based techniques. I won't be the type of therapist who just sits backs and nods. I want to help you with active problem solving and building skills. It may be helpful to know that I am a married mom of a 4 year old boy and dog mom of 8 year old doodle. I am a real person navigating life's ups and downs just like you and I'm happy to share parts of my personal life (mistakes and all) if I feel that it helps enhance the therapy process. I have a proven record of success and would be honored to be chosen for your therapy journey. I look forward to connecting soon.
Yes, And Therapy
All of you is welcome here. At the root of my therapeutic approach is the belief that every person is worthy of compassion, support, and the experience of feeling seen. I view my role as a therapist being a mirror, a flashlight, and a map—with the destination ultimately decided by the client. I see the treatment-planning process as a unique art form. The subject of the art—the treatment goals—is determined by the client, while I offer the materials: the therapeutic modalities and tools. I draw from a variety of theories and approaches, ranging from psychotherapy and somatic therapy to parts work, CBT, and DBT, to name just a few. All of my work is approached through a cultural and trauma-informed lens, beginning with our initial call. Another essential ingredient in all of my individual and group sessions is psychoeducation. I am an active therapist, which to me means I will not only reflect what I hear you sharing but also connect it to other things you've shared; ask questions to deepen our exploration; connect your experiences to relevant theories and concepts; and, if you’d like, share skills, practices, and tools. Some of my areas of clinical strength, which may be less commonly represented in the field, include Complex PTSD (CPTSD), bipolar disorder, and ethical non-monogamy (ENM).

You are NOT alone! Navigating college is hard alone. Trying to do it during a pandemic has been just brutal! I have been working in a college counseling center for the past 14 years, and continue to do so. I recognize that not all students have access to services at their college and hope that I might be able to support those students by filling in the gap. With more than 20 years of working with adolescents, young adults, and adults, I am here to support those ready to take the next steps in prioritizing their mental health. With kindness, compassion, humor and focus, my goal is to provide guidance, perspective and insight in focusing on achievable steps to identify and strengthen your own skills to help you navigate any of the challenges or goals you are ready to tackle. The same way in which we will turn to others for information and encouragement when addressing physical pain or recovery from injury, my goal is to provide an environment that is holistic, collaborative and forward focused to help you achieve the healthy balance, life, relationships, etc. that you deserve! Teletherapy helps you achieve noteworthy milestones and saves time, money, and energy over traditional in-person therapy. When you are ready, let's unpack, explore and understand where you have been, where you are and where you want to get to!

Kaitlyn Boseck
Hi, I’m Kaitlyn, a trauma-informed therapist who helps college students navigate stress, self-doubt, and relationship challenges while trying to get the most out of college and figuring out who they really are. If you’ve ever tried to study for finals while spiraling over a relationship conflict, or pulled an all-nighter because you were rewriting a paper that was already good enough or procrastinated so hard you needed every last minute before hitting submit, I get it. Many of the students I work with struggle to keep up appearances while silently wondering if they’re falling behind. I’ve worked with undergraduate and graduate students at Harvard University and understand the intense pressure to perform, achieve, and never disappoint anyone (especially your parents). Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and sometimes even a little funny (because laughing about how much you overthink counts as progress). Together, we’ll unpack what’s fueling your stress, explore the patterns that keep you stuck, and build tools to help you feel more secure, confident, and grounded in your own life. Finding a therapist who is the right step is essential to therapeutic success. I encourage you to shop around and also offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we could be a good fit. If interested in a free consult, feel free to email me or fill out an inquiry form on my website. I hope you get the support that you're looking for and more.
