If you’ve been spinning your wheels for a while, you don’t need another person to just watch them turn. You need someone to help you figure out how to get some traction and move in a positive direction. I'm here to help you gain traction. My clients often feel lost in hard times: they've moved to a new place, have relationship issues, or feel stuck in the past. Whether it's something that just happened or something they've been dealing with for years, I help them find a path to improved well-being, gain a sense of purpose or meaning, and develop tools for greater resilience when life is harsh. My priority is always to build the best possible relationship with my clients. My training and experience with different therapy methods including, CBT, Positive Psychology, and EMDR allow me to support clients in many different places in their lives. All with the goal of making real changes so folks can live authentically happier lives. My practice welcomes and affirms folks from all kinds of backgrounds. I strive to be an ally for LGBTQIA+ folks and people of color. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but let's have a 15 minute judgement consultation to see if we might be a good fit to work together.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who trained at George Washington University and at Harvard University. I provide individual therapy for adults as well as couples therapy. I utilize psychodynamic/psychoanalytic perspectives in order to best understand my clients. I have worked with clients struggling with various issues such as depression and anxiety, low self-esteem, college/graduate school stress and relationship/family difficulties. I provide an empathetic, supportive, and interactive environment whereby together, the client and I can explore conflicts with the ultimate goal of reducing unpleasant thoughts and/or painful feelings. I view therapy as a process of not only working in the present, but also uncovering the past, allowing for the development of insight and awareness into one's patterns of thought and behavior. I have a particular interest in working with college students, graduate students, law students and attorneys. I am a Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, whereby I teach and supervise doctoral students. I am currently only working via telehealth.

My approach is client-centered and grounded in active listening, nonjudgment, cultural responsiveness, and genuine allyship. As a Brazilian, bilingual therapist fluent in English and Portuguese, I understand the importance of honoring each person's unique background, identity, and lived experience. Drawing from my work in crisis intervention, outpatient mental health, schools, and community-based settings, I tailor treatment to meet each client's individual needs and goals. During our first sessions, we will focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship, exploring what brings you to therapy, and identifying meaningful goals f Life can feel overwhelming when you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or thoughts of hopelessness. I work with teens (16+) through adults, including individuals from migrant and multicultural communities, to help them navigate challenges, build resilience, and move toward a more fulfilling life. Together, we will identify your goals, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you overcome obstacles and create meaningful change. I believe healing and growth are possible when people feel supported and empowered. My hope is that our work together will help you gain insight, confidence, and coping skills while creating a life that feel fulfilled.

Hi! My name is Alie Wulf and I’m a licensed psychologist who works with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, and other challenges. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin, therapy can be a powerful step toward creating real change—and I'm here to support you in that process. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood. In our first few sessions, we'll gently explore what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, how I can support you, and start setting meaningful goals together. What makes my approach unique is that I don’t just listen—I actively offer tools and strategies from evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT and ERP, to help you manage symptoms, build insight, and move toward the life you want. At the same time, I follow your lead and prioritize what feels most important to you. I’m deeply passionate about this work. I love hearing people’s stories and feel honored to walk alongside my clients as they grow, heal, and create lasting change.

I enjoy working with college and graduate students and have had many students from the colleges in Boston and the surrounding areas. I assess and treat those struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, relationship issues, social anxiety, and weight issues. My husband is a Taiwanese immigrant and as a mother of a biracial child I am familiar with acculturation and identity struggles. I've worked in multiple weight and pediatric/adolescent clinics and many of the Boston hospitals, as well as UMASS Medical Center Worcester, and often get the feedback that clients like that I'm specific with my feedback and suggestions and don't just nod my head. Well I know human behavior, you know you best, and working together I enjoy seeing my clients lives change and being a part of their growth.

Effective therapy creates meaningful, lasting, joyful change. As your therapist I can help you resolve the inner and outer conflicts that create pain and exhaustion. Life brings unchosen experiences. Sometimes we feel hurt, scared, or deeply alone. Sometimes what happens seems too big to manage. For 25+ years I have had the privilege of helping people learn to live as their "best self," able to manage their moods, thoughts and situations with compassion and skill, to make changes to reach their goals, and to find happiness. I lived and worked in Africa for 6 years, and have helped people from many cultures find their joy. My specialty is helping people understand their unique "recipe" of biology, upbringing, relationships, and current situations, and how they might work with their "ingredients" to create immediate and long-lasting positive change. My approach is practical. I integrate psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies, internal and strategic family systems, EMDR and other trauma-informed approaches, and mindfulness-based stress management. Depression, anxiety, loneliness, frustration, pulls towards behaviors that lead to pain...whatever is interfering with your well-being is worth changing. Together we can produce change. Please EMAIL

With 12 years of experience in the mental health field, I take a thoughtful, compassionate, and interactive approach to therapy. I specialize in working with individuals and couples facing challenges such as trauma, ADHD, depression, anxiety, feelings of dissatisfaction, childhood trauma, and relationship challenges. My career includes working with adolescents, in-home family therapy, chronic mental health needs, and primary care settings. I have recently graduated with my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Framingham State University in May 2024. In my work with couples, I recognize that communication can often be a significant barrier to connection. Many couples I work with experience their own mental health needs, which can complicate interactions and lead to misunderstandings. I create a safe and supportive environment where partners can openly express their thoughts and feelings. Together, we explore the underlying issues that may be hindering communication/connection and work on strategies to enhance understanding and empathy. Using techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic approaches, I help couples develop practical skills for healthier communication. This includes learning how to express needs effectively, navigate conflict, and build emotional intimacy. My goal is to empower couples to reconnect and strengthen their relationships, even in the face of individual challenges. I extend my couple’s work to family therapy, in which I work with small family systems around communication and interactional patterns. For individuals, I focus on fostering self-discovery and skill building. I help clients develop coping strategies tailored to their unique experiences and mental health needs. From Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I pull a blend of coping strategies and reframing to assist individuals in changing what they can change and learning to tolerate/accept what they cannot change. From my experience in primary care, I incorporate wellness both emotionally and physically into sessions. As a recent college graduate, I can relate to the challenges of modern day students. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and as is such, invite clients to share their concerns and feedback throughout the process. My style pulls from a blend of approaches and my approach is interactive. When beneficial, I collaborate with other service providers to enhance our work together. I look forward to walking alongside your journey.
