Whether seeking clarity on behaviors, understanding how you interpret the world, or navigating challenges like job functioning and ADHD, I’m here to help. I'm genuinely excited and honored to work with each of my clients and help them reach their goals in life. This isn't just my job, as all my clients will tell you—this is my passion. This is my life. I'm different from any therapist you've ever had, and together, we'll be one of the best teams. I'll be there for you through life's challenges, the ups, the downs, the hardships, the sadness, the happiest moments, the joys, and the promotions 🎉. We'll support and empower you to be the best version of yourself, even if that best version is just not hating yourself anymore. Welcome to the Different Spectrums family! If you're curious about my style and humor, you're welcome to listen to our podcast, which has over forty thousand followers. I enjoy pickup basketball, weightlifting, and yoga outside the therapy room. I'm currently adding golf and fishing to my repertoire. I admit to a penchant for reading half-bought books and comics. You are trying to hold it all together, but just can’t take it anymore. You’ve hit your breaking point and don’t know what to do. Self-doubt, over-thinking everything, questioning what will make you happy. It seems like everyone else has it figured out, but you can't get it together. This is supposed to be the best time of your life, but you can't seem to enjoy it, and you need help. My name is Jennifer Branstetter, and I help students who are struggling and overwhelmed with their mental health. It might be hard to keep up with school, and maybe this is the first time you've ever struggled academically and you're wondering if something's wrong with you. Anxiety, depression, PTSD, or ADHD symptoms can interfere with forming friendships or having the "college experience" and maybe you're questioning if you made the right school choice. Maybe you aren't connecting socially or feel like you fit in. Sometimes the transition to college can be a lot harder than expected, or something like a breakup can throw you for a loop. It's common for students in this situation to feel an immense amount of pressure. Sometimes it feels like you can't talk to anyone else about it. Therapy can be a place to get it all out, figure out what is contributing to the problem, and come up with a plan to get better. It's time to get some support. You don't have to do this alone. My practice has been virtual since 2018 from my home office in Southeast Indiana, outside of Cincinnati. I see people in Indiana, Ohio, and Florida. If you have a therapist at home, I'd be happy to connect with them to make the transition easier, and stay on the same page if you see them on breaks. I can also help connect you with on-campus resources or medication providers if needed. Reach out to schedule a call to see if we're a good fit.

If you feel that you are constantly fighting an upward battle, that no one understands your pain, that you don't know how to get out of "the pit," I am here for you. I am originally from California, but have called Colorado (Denver) my home for the last thirteen years. While I do miss the ocean, I love being in the mountains and all they have to offer. When I am not working, I am often playing in my garden, doing something in the kitchen, spending time with friends and family, or traveling. I am the same person during session as I am outside of session; laid back, a little goofy, genuinely curious about others’ lives, and compassionate. I use she/her pronouns. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) and am licensed to see clients in Colorado, Indiana, Florida and Nevada. I have been practicing therapy since 2013 and truly enjoy working with my clients. I love learning about how trauma and stress can impact our minds, bodies and nervous systems and the ways we can heal and start to feel better. I am a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist as well as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). I often use a mixture of EMDR, Somatic Experiencing (SE), attachment, parts focused, and mindfulness techniques to help clients begin to unpack stressful or traumatic events and begin to integrate a sense of healing back into their minds and bodies. These techniques can be helpful for clients struggling with anxiety and depression symptoms, who have experienced one or more traumatic events, substance use, emotion regulation, or uncomfortable body sensations.
