Everyone seeks support for different reasons, and I’m here to honor yours. In a world of constant connection, the present moment can still feel distant. As a daughter of Polish immigrants, I value cultural heritage and offer support in both English and conversational Polish. I believe healing happens through empathy, humor, and collaboration. Alongside DBT, I integrate somatic therapies, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support a compassionate, body-aware, and client-centered process. Whether you’re facing long-standing patterns or new changes, therapy offers space for clarity and growth. Through gentle challenge, curiosity, and affirmation, we’ll explore what helps you move forward with confidence. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University, where I learned to value presence and acceptance. A favorite quote of mine is by Eckhart Tolle: “How do you know this is the experience you need? Because this is the experience you are having at the moment.” Your experience matters—and I’d be honored to support you in making meaning of it.

For Real Therapy is rooted in the belief that therapy is a political act -- where resilience and rest are supported simultaneously. It is a practice for people who recognize the ripple effect of their impact on the world at large, and why it is integral to commit to the work of intentional self-healing to relate to yourself so you can best relate to others.
Therapy can be many things and is different for each person. Whether you are new to therapy or returning, my hope is to meet you where you’re at, explore what may feel stuck, painful, or challenging, and support you in living a life aligned with what is most important to you. Throughout my career I have really enjoyed working with college students and I know that this time of life can bring unique challenges, both in concerns that arise now and in reflecting on what has brought you to this point. No situation is too big or too small to explore and work to understand how to navigate together.

Searching for a therapist can feel daunting, especially when life’s challenges seem to outweigh the moments of clarity. Yet, taking this step toward your well-being is a testament to your resilience and courage. Therapy offers not just a safe haven, but a pathway to understanding, growth, and personal empowerment. Whether you’re an athlete striving for peak performance, or an individual navigating the complexities of daily life, I’m here to support you on your journey. Together, we can navigate the psychology of performance, challenge thought patterns and behaviors, and explore personal beliefs to foster self-awareness, build self confidence, and tap into your inner champion. If you're exhausted not only from feeling stuck, but also from feeling misunderstood or unable to be your full self, you deserve a therapist who supports, understands, and affirms you. I bring lived experience to create an accessible space where there is less pressure to conform. Together, we'll make sense of your experiences and build a life that feels more authentic, fulfilling, and sustainable. I work with adults and teens (13+) who are seeking support related to Autism, ADHD, OCD, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, and more. As a Black, neurodivergent, queer person, I am especially passionate about working with clients who identify as BIPOC, neurodivergent, and/or LGBTQIA+. I approach therapy with presence, curiosity, humility, and deep respect for the privilege of being invited into my clients' lives. My goal is to help clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to navigate challenges with greater confidence and self-compassion. As a client, you can expect an active and collaborative therapist who partners with you to turn self-awareness and reflection into meaningful, lasting change. Using mind-body approaches, I invite clients to slow down and become curious about their emotional and physical experiences. I also recognize that shame, overwhelm, and frustration often show up when we begin expanding beyond what feels safe and familiar. Because of this, I value building trust as the foundation of my work, and believe healing begins with authentic connection and a safe space to explore what may be keeping you feeling "stuck."
