Welcome. My name is Kate, and I offer psychodynamically oriented, trauma-informed, compassionate, and affirming therapy to folks of all kinds. I work with people across the lifespan, many of whom identify as queer and/or neurodivergent and are trying to make sense of a world that can feel overwhelming. You’re tired of questioning yourself and feeling “not enough.” Painful experiences in your past colored your inner world gray... Lingering wounds like childhood trauma, narcissistic partners, and betrayal trauma impact how you see yourself and interact with others. I have stopped taking insurance because of all the barriers it creates from its medical model of viewing functionality and need. I know this creates a financial barrier for some, but I believe that until the system changes, its more of a detriment overall.
