Welcome! Many women in college come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, disconnected, or unsure, often caught in patterns they’re ready to change. You might be navigating college adjustments, emotional stress, social or relationship challenges, trauma or loss, attachment patterns, self-discovery, spirituality, self-esteem or belonging, women’s issues, or major life transitions. Life brings both pain and beauty, and reaching out for support takes courage. My work offers a warm, holistic, and collaborative space to explore these experiences with care, creativity, and solution-focused guidance. Somatic psychotherapy with me provides a space to breathe, slow down, and connect with your inner life and wisdom. Drawing from Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, and Dance/Movement Therapy, I integrate body awareness, nervous system and parts work, creative expression, and practical tools to support emotional regulation, insight, and meaningful change. Healing often begins in small moments of being truly met. I believe it unfolds through authentic, non-judgmental connection, where curiosity, attunement, and care create space to rediscover who you are. I offer a warm, supportive presence that nurtures resilience, clarity, self-trust, joy, and a deepening sense of belonging within yourself. Email me to schedule a free 15-minute call to see if we’re a good fit to work together.
I have been working in the outpatient setting for over 10 years. I've rotated through a student mental health clinic during my training and have worked with many college aged students. College can be an exciting time of change and growth and finding purpose and connection. College can also be a big adjustment, as you acclimate to a new setting, new responsibilities and being away from home for an extended period, sometimes for the first time. It is often during these big life changes that you may need a little extra help settling in, getting into new routines. Through a combination of therapy and careful use of medication, we can work on getting you in a place to fully engage in and enjoy your college experience.
My Approach: Direct and Compassionate - I believe these are the two greatest traits I can bring into my work with others. While working with clients I strive to provide honest feedback that will help guide them forward towards recovery while offering compassion along the journey. I believe that the best route to change is a direct one that does not beat around the bush. The road to recovery of any form can be very difficult as life may be in a state of turmoil. I have found that offering a compassionate approach that fits an individual's needs is the best route to take. My specialities/areas of focus are: substance abuse, addiction and trauma. I am a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have additional trainings in Brainspotting and DBT. In my work as a counselor and my own life I have found that connection is of incredible importance. Inability or unwillingness to feel and express uncomfortable emotions can keep people disconnected. Through the process of recovery, lifestyle changes, and personal growth many people experience fear, anger, sadness, and many other emotions.
Whether you are going through a transition, burdened with anxiety, depression, school stressors, trauma, family, or relationship conflict, I understand what it feels like to struggle and I am here to help you navigate through tough times to foster your own resilience and help you thrive. You will be welcomed with genuine compassion, a sense of humor, and a supportive non-judgmental environment.

Women-Led. Women-served. Life transitioning is rough. We understand, which is why we strive to serve young women who are in the midst of it. Do you .. Feel unmotivated? Have a hard time getting out the house or dorm? Feel socially isolated? Find yourself making impulsive decisions? Scrolling on the phone instead of getting sleep at night? I believe that what many of us desire most is a richness of connection - to ourselves, the ones we love, and the natural world around us. In my own experience, therapy offered a path forward, helping me cultivate a secure attachment within myself during a time that felt totally chaotic. Healing took place through being in the presence of a warm and compassionate guide, who could shine a light for me on possibility when I felt stuck in my same patterns. Many of my clients are seeking this: a guided opportunity to embrace their Whole Self so that they can find more presence, meaning and joy in their relationships and in their lives. My approach is collaborative and personalized, drawing upon my training in Gestalt Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and mindfulness-based modalities. I also enjoy working with the Enneagram, which can serve as a powerful tool for spiritual and relational development. I believe that self inquiry and transformation is a patient process that requires courage, tenderness, honesty, and oftentimes a sense of humor. What I offer is more than a 60 minute session, but an invitation to step into a new way of being inside and outside of our time together. Want to chat more? I offer 20-minute complimentary consultation calls.

Overwhelmed. Stressed Out. ANXIOUS. You keep asking yourself how you are going to get everything done. Being an adult and at college is a lot harder than you every thought. You wish you could feel happy and just have fun in college. But the pressure is on. The social pressure is there. Do you go out with friends or stay in and study? Going out you may have fun but would worry about getting homework done. But staying in you feel lonely, sad, wishing you would have gone out. Making the best decision seems impossible. But it is possible to enjoy college. To have friends. And to get your school work done. You need to learn to develop self trust to make the best decision and how to balance everything you are doing. That's where I come in. I am here to help you move past the anxiety and depression and step into a fun college experience. I will help you discover who you are at your core. Then you will have more confidence to step into the adulting world. I would be honored to be part of your journey to having fun now and gaining confidence to be who you truly are. I really like working with those who feel a bit like an outsider, not quite fitting in. Maybe you are part of the queer community, maybe you are more spiritual than everyone else you know, maybe you feel utterly lost and have no idea who you are. Schedule a free 20 min consultation right now and let me help you living an authentic and fun life. Go to the "website" to get on my calendar right now.

As a therapist my goal is to serve as a thought partner to recognize, analyze, and eventually untie the tethers that hold clients back from their best lives. Together, with nature as our muse, we will embark on this work. Therapy is an iterative process by which participants are able to free themselves and recognize their own purpose and power.
