Hi, I’m Rebecca! I’m a licensed therapist (LMFT), and I work with students who are navigating all the messy, beautiful, confusing parts of being human—especially during a time like college, when everything feels like it’s shifting. You don’t need to be in crisis to come to therapy. Maybe you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who you’re becoming, and that’s okay. It’s normal to want some support while you're figuring things out. In our work together, you’ll find a space that’s calm, non-judgmental, and focused on you. I use a mix of approaches—CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused work—but more than anything, I show up with compassion, curiosity, and respect for your pace and your story. I became a therapist because I know how powerful it can be to feel truly seen and heard. I bring my own love of creativity, deep listening, and belief in people’s resilience into the room with me. You don’t have to have the right words or a plan, just bring yourself. We’ll figure it out together.
I have been a School Counselor for 16 years and because of this I have worked with people dealing with many different things. I have an office and I can work with you in my office but I happy to meet with you anywhere.
Much of my work focuses on removing emotional and psychological barriers that keep people from expressing and enjoying who they truly are. Expect to discover or remember aspects of yourself that thrive in authentic relationships and meaningful pursuits.
Gertie Breffle MA, LPC Sessions with me take on a mentor, down to earth, gritty feel. I believe in the therapeutic relationship being a human to human relationship and within that context I facilitate the healing process within clients as a collaborative effort. My orientation is using the body’s and nervous system’s natural capacities for healing along with human relationship to engage in the healing process. Using techniques and practices from the latest trauma research as well as attachment frame working, I help clients learn to use body/mind practices as well as attachment work to heal and strengthen relationships with self and others, and to heal the nervous system in addressing concerns with trauma, anxiety, depression, addictions, and relationships. I use a combination of techniques and practices from the latest trauma researchers, as well as EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Multi-systemic Family Therapy, and mindfulness practices. I facilitate strengthening and healing relationships with self and others within the contexts of individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy.
College life can feel like a whirlwind—full of change, pressure, expectations, and questions about who you are and where you’re headed. If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, depressed, or struggling with self-medicating behaviors like drinking too much, you’re not alone. At Trailside Therapy, I offer a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can talk through the challenges you’re facing—whether it’s stress, relationships, identity, academic pressure, trauma, or navigating major life transitions. My approach is person-centered, empathetic, and focused on meeting you right where you are. Therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical or intimidating. It can be a place where you feel safe to explore, process, and find hope again.

I have training working with those withADHD and associated issues, as well as specialized understanding of the pressure faced by high level collegiate athletes.
Life is tough. I see you wanting to get more quality out of your life. You might be the gladiator of a high achiever dragging around anxiety, autism, ADHD or a difficult past. Or maybe life got harder than that lately - like putting your feet on the floor is too hard today. Listen, I've been there myself. You're safe here. I got you. Let's get curious about you. You are the expert of your life; I'm right here with you handing you tools. Yes, I have the ground-breaking therapies. You’re the expert on your life. I’m here to walk alongside you and offer tools that fit. I often use CBT and DBT for practical work. I'm currently in training for EMDR. Next Steps: Just say hey. I'll respond less than a couple hours during my office hours. Or call the number and leave me a message. If I'm not in session or out of office, I'll answer your call myself. No couch. No traffic. Therapy is a chat by videocall - bring your own cat and coffee.
We are a group of therapists in Denver who have a passion for helping young adults live their best lives. We provide a safe space to process past trauma and current life events in order to learn from them and figure out how to heal and avoid toxic patterns moving forward. We believe that therapy works best when it involves back and forth conversation and active involvement on our part. We aim to be warm, funny, empathetic, and create a strong relationship where there are no "off limit" topics.
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, the Rocky Mountains provided a beautiful backdrop to a variety of educational and professional experiences. I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Denver, where I obtained specialized training in psychological assessment, substance misuse, couples psychotherapy, and university counseling. After completing my training in New Orleans I have continued to provide mental health services for university students, individuals, and couples. I have extensive clinical experience with adolescents, emerging adults, middle age adults and over seven years of direct clinical service for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. A commitment to cultural humility and anti-racism remains a central value in my clinical practice. Individuals and couples of all races, religions, nationalities, sexual orientations, gender identities, abilities and relationship identities are welcome.

If you’re feeling stuck, anxious or overwhelmed, find yourself repeating the same patterns, or are struggling to figure out your identity in a new role or stage of life, you’re not alone. So many of us try to push through without stopping to take care of ourselves. What you’re feeling is exhaustion that is masked as resilience. You deserve a life that feels calm, connected and meaningful. Selah Therapy Studio can help you find your way there. The word Selah means to pause and reflect. In our sessions, you’ll have the space to slow down, explore what’s beneath the surface and move toward balance, empowerment and healing. I work with adolescents, young adults and adults who are experiencing anxiety, past trauma, grief or major life changes. My approach is warm, collaborative and client-centered. Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences - including trauma, family dynamics, or difficult life events - shape the way you view yourself and the world. Your past may shape you, but it doesn’t have to define your future. Healing doesn’t mean erasing the past - it means learning to live fully with it. Together, we can make sense of what has happened in and around your life, so you can create space for change. I welcome you to reach out today for a free consultation to see if this feels like the right fit.

This is a powerful method of therapy that can provide rapid results and healing in a short amount of time (1-5 sessions). Keely has been working in the field for over 15 years with experience in several settings, including Partial Hospitalization, outpatient, and in-home therapy. She is able to provide in-person therapy or telemedicine (online) sessions. Her office is located in Nurture, a wellness marketplace in Denver. My name is Jennifer Koch (She/Her). I am a 30 year experienced somatic mind-body oriented therapist who provides support for adolescents and adults moving through issues related to depression, anxiety, PTSD, sexual abuse survivors, medical trauma, falls/injuries, car accidents, substance use, grief/loss, LGBTQIA+ and other life transitions. Clients reach out for many reasons. Some are noticing distressing memories, fears, worry, or sadness impacting their relationships, employment, and sleep. Sometimes parents reach out concerned about their teen or college student seeming more withdrawn or overwhelmed at school/college or home. Some clients are feeling pressure to be perfect and keep up with life’s demands. Some are feeling stuck and unable to move their life forward and accomplish their personal or professional goals. I believe wholeheartedly in the resilience and capacity of our nervous systems to heal and move beyond past/current challenges we face with the right support. Please email me or call to schedule a free 15 minute telephone consultation call to explore if we are a good match for the support you are needing at this time. If so, we will schedule your initial visit in-person or via telehealth.
My specialty is treating individuals with ADHD, anxiety, perfectionism, mild depression, stress, decisions about college majors, transitions, medical diagnoses (e.g., cancer, diabetes, struggles with weight, infertility, pregnancy loss). A little bit about me: I'm a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and I've been working in health care (mostly primary care) for about 9 years. In my free time, I enjoy being with my family & dogs and you'll typically find me hiking or somewhere outdoors.
