I graduated with my MSW and a certificate in trauma from Simmons University. My main areas of focus include trauma, anxiety, depression, and life changes. I have a background working with children and families with intense traumatic experiences. Currently, I am working with clients ages 5-35. I take pride in working alongside children and young adults to give them the skills they need to learn and grow. I utilize a variety of interventions, including TF-CBT, attachment theory, mindfulness, somatic process, active listening, motivational interviewing, grounding, and psycho-education. I believe in meeting every client where they are and going the extra mile to build strong and trusting relationships. I am dedicated to individualized, client-driven therapy, recognizing that every person is different and moves through the world uniquely. I strive to work collaboratively with each client to address their specific wants and needs. Living in this world can be challenging, and my goal is to help clients find their own ways to make it easier. I work alongside them, letting them guide the direction of therapy. I am dedicated to creating a strong therapeutic relationship and invite clients to schedule a consultation to see if I am a good fit or to inquire further about my services.
I believe that therapy is a journey of self-discovery and growth. My ideal clients are adolescents and adults navigating challenges with anxiety, depression, substance use, and life transitions. I'm also passionate about working with athletes, performers, and professionals who want to build mental resilience and optimize their performance. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, valued, and empowered. I have a wide range of experience, including sport and performance psychology, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy, and helping clients with identity development. Together, we can explore your goals and take meaningful steps toward the life you want to create. If you're ready to begin this journey, I invite you to connect with me.
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate with experience supporting couples and individuals as they navigate the issues that matter most to them. My passion for this field began in the rural South, where I became fascinated by the relationships that sustain us and the ways we communicate with ourselves and each other, especially in the face of trauma. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and change, and my role is to walk alongside you, offering support and tools that can help you move toward the life and relationships you want. In my practice, I specialize in working with couples from diverse relationship and family structures wanting to strengthen communication, deepen connection, and develop healthier ways to manage conflict. I am Gottman Level 2 certified, an approach to couples therapy that focuses on building strong, healthy relationships. I am also informed by the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) that draws from attachment theory and cognitive neuroscience to help couples move toward secure functioning as they learn to regulate emotion together. We will work together to create a strong foundation upon which a secure relationship can be built. I also specialize in working with individuals of all ages navigating LGBT issues such as gender identity, which is deeply linked to how we are perceived and show up in the world. My approach utilizes a trauma-informed lens to identify the impacts on everyday life and guide where the client would most like to explore. I am informed by the Neuroaffective Relational Model (NARM) that uses both somatic and psychodynamic techniques to identify survival patterns that are no longer useful to us and works on bringing the mind and body into alignment. I also incorporate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which focuses on how we experience and express emotion, supporting healthier regulation and deeper self-understanding. We will work together to create a space to process and explore as you move toward personal growth. It is a privilege to work with my clients as they gain the courage to take steps toward personal growth and build meaningful relationships with themselves and others.
I work with individuals and families who are navigating life changes, anxiety, depression and overall life stressors. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe, heard, and valued. Therapy is a place where you do not have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or have all the answers; we move at a pace that feels supportive and respectful. Clients often describe me as warm, gentle, and genuine. I use appropriate humor to ease tension, while also offering thoughtful reflection to gently interrupt patterns that may no longer be serving you. Therapy with me is collaborative and supportive, balancing emotional understanding with practical skill-building to encourage meaningful change. My hope is that through our work together, you will feel safer in yourself, more empowered, and more confident in your voice; carrying forward a deeper sense of resilience, self-worth, and the light you bring into the world.

I believe that healing involves the mind, body and soul. I focus primarily on relational methods, as I believe that the therapeutic bond is a place to practice and explore new ways of connecting, being vulnerable, feeling emotions, receiving care, and building self-awareness. My main methods of therapy are Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM), both of which focus on using relationship to bring out each individual’s self-righting tendencies and heal past wounds.. I also am certified in EMDR and the DIR/Floortime developmental play therapy model. I have training in various parenting and family therapy methods, including Circle of Security and Developmental Dyadic Psychotherapy. I have a Bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish from Miami University in Ohio, an MBA from Northwestern University in Evanston, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. My Colorado license is #9925261. I am lucky to be married to a wonderful husband and have three boys, all beginning their journey into adulthood. I love to hike, read, and sit by the firepit with friends and family.
