I provide therapy in English and Spanish. I received my Master's Degree from JFK University. I have been in the Mental Health field for 18 years. In my first 10 years I worked with children, teens, young adults, and families. Since then I have been working with adults. My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. I utilize evidence based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy, problem solving therapy, behavioral activation, and EMDR. I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.

I'm an educational psychologist who specializes in assessment and coaching. I assess for learning disabilities, ADHD, ASD, and other mental health issues that get in the way of learning or being successful at school. I can help you understand your learning profile and help you both get and be able to effectively utilize accommodations to support you at your school. I also am an ADHD specialist and I do "executive function coaching" which is basically coaching to help you manage your life from your homework, to your life at home, to your job. Additionally I can help you explore and prepare for your transition to post secondary education or to work. Many students do not know what they want to do once they leave high school or college. Life is difficult. Yet when we accept this reality, our lives change dramatically for the better. Our fear, sadness, and anger is often what is keeping us from facing the vital facts of our lives which need to be addressed. The more effective we are at soothing ourself, the more courageous we become. For it is often overwhelming pain that paralyzes us or leads us to mindlessly react in ways that sabotage our peace and happiness. I teach you how to calm yourself and effectively solve the problems you face. I collaborate with you as you learn how to influence your subconscious mind which is as much as 95 percent of thinking. We work together so you can realize your dreams in your relationships and career.

Relationships are the most rewarding and often the most difficult parts of our lives. If you're struggling in your romantic relationship, friendships, family or even in your relationship with yourself...you're not alone. Negative thoughts and feelings can keep you from the life you want with the people you love. Counseling can give you the support and encouragement you need to help move forward and find new, better ways to communicate and connect. It can be difficult to know who to trust with the things you're going through. Therapy offers you a confidential, comfortable place to talk about the things in your life that are hard to share with others. Together, we can uncover your strengths and use them to create a plan to give you relief from the uncomfortable place you're in today.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by your emotions? Have you experienced childhood, family, or identity trauma that has left you feeling stressed and anxious? Or perhaps you're simply looking to understand yourself better and lead a happier life. If any of these resonate with you, I can help. I have five years of experience working in various clinical settings, including suicide hotlines, community mental health, sexual health clinics, and hospitals. Through my experiences, I have developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals seeking mental health care, especially with AAPIs, young adults, immigrants, and the LGBTQ population. As a Taiwanese American who immigrated to America at 12 years old, I have firsthand experience of the challenges individuals from immigrant communities face. I also understand the unique challenges faced by the LGBTQ population, and I'm committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all of my clients. In my work, I view my clients from a social justice lens and address systemic issues that impact mental health. I utilize a range of therapeutic approaches to help my clients achieve their goals. As a trauma-informed therapist, I recognize that the effects of trauma can be pervasive and long-lasting, and I work collaboratively with my clients to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to their unique needs. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’ve spent much of your life being strong for others. I specialize in working with members of the Latino community across generations, including immigrants, first- and second-generation individuals, and monolingual Spanish speakers. Many of my clients are navigating family expectations, identity exploration, acculturation stress, and the challenge of balancing multiple cultural worlds while managing anxiety, depression, relationship stress, parenting concerns, or major life transitions. I provide a warm, supportive, nonjudgmental space using a behavioral and systemic approach. As a bilingual Latina therapist, I help clients build coping skills, strengthen relationships, navigate immigration and adjustment stress, and explore how culture and family shape their experiences. Evening, Saturday, and limited sliding scale spots available. I understand the deep importance of culture, family, and identity, and I am passionate about helping clients feel seen, heard, and supported in ways that honor their lived experiences. You deserve a space where you can show up fully, heal at your own pace, and begin creating meaningful change.

I specialize in sex therapy, which means that I enjoy working with individuals and couples (or people in poly relationships) who may be struggling with any sex-related issues. The types of issues that people tend to see me for include sexual dysfunctions (like problems with orgasm, erection, or sexual pain), intimate relationship concerns, sexual orientation or gender identity, and sexual trauma. I also see folks who are dealing with other issues, such as anxiety or depression. Some of the people I work with have a very specific goal for treatment, while others need more ongoing treatment for deeper, more lifelong concerns. A lot of people struggle with some aspect of their sexuality, but they may find it difficult to talk about their problems, fears, or concerns with anyone. I am very open to hearing whatever is going on in your life and I'm not afraid to talk about sex. As a sex therapist, I know a lot about sex and sexuality and I can use this knowledge to help! It can be really difficult reaching out for the first time, so it's great that you're already looking for professional support with whatever is bothering you in your life. Please reach out to me if you think that we might be a good fit in working together - I am here to hep whenever you're ready!

College can be exciting and full of new experiences, but it can also bring a lot of pressure. Between academics, relationships, and figuring out your future, it is easy to feel stressed, anxious, or unsure of yourself. Therapy offers a chance to slow down, reflect, and work through whatever feels heavy right now. My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally aware. I focus on helping students manage stress, anxiety, and relationship challenges while building self-understanding and confidence. Sessions are available online for students across California, and my goal is to make therapy a supportive space where you can be heard and find balance.
