Todd G Davenport LLC
Hi, I'm Todd — a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with clients navigating the unique pressures of academic and professional life. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in scientific and academic settings myself, which gives me an insider's understanding of the perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and identity questions that often come with life in these environments.
I especially enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients, high-achieving and gifted individuals, and folks who don't fit the "traditional student" mold — people returning to school later in life, career-changers, or anyone who's ever felt out of step with the timeline they thought they were supposed to follow. Whether you're questioning your identity, wrestling with the gap between your achievements and how you feel inside, or trying to figure out who you are outside of being "the smart one," I want to help you find more ease and authenticity in your own story.
My approach is person-centered and strength-based — I believe you're already carrying the answers, and my job is to help you find them without judgment, jargon, or pressure to perform. I'd be glad to talk with you.
