Hello, I'm Tara. Has there been a time in your life when you have questioned your relationship with food and the way you view your body? Has your life been impacted by trauma or traumatic experiences? Finally, do you find yourself feeling down, sluggish, nervous, or irritable at times?

If you are ready for change and can answer yes to any of the questions above, then I believe I can help you improve these concerns and start living your best life. My true passion in life has been helping people improve their mental health and overall well-being. I have over 15 years of experience assisting adolescents, young adults, and adults with improving mental health, relationship, and trauma concerns. I am a firm believer in the strength you possess and want to help you build on that strength and realize your own potential for growth and healing. My goal is to always support you in ways that fit what you need as an individual.

Because I recognize that therapy is not a 'one size fits all' treatment approach, I utilize a variety of treatment modalities. Most commonly, I find that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, person-centered, and solution-focused therapies have been incredibly helpful for many people, so I lean on those often to find interventions that work best for you!

I am well aware that taking the first step to ask for help and come to therapy is incredibly difficult. I also know that getting to know and trust a new therapist is not the easiest or most comfortable process for many people. My goal is to be open and welcoming and help you find the best way to work through all of your areas of concern.

So if you are ready for change and want to experience an overall improvement in your mood and well-being, then I am ready to help you! Take that first step—send me a message or schedule an appointment. I know that therapeutic fit is one of the most important parts of therapy. So I welcome you to reach out, ask me questions, and I will do my very best to answer everything I can to help you feel most comfortable.
