Taneisha Moss is a clinical therapist with ten years of experience providing therapeutic services in the community. She holds a Master of Science degree in Psychology and Counseling from Troy University, is independently licensed in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors.

Taneisha specializes in providing a safe, supportive and collaborative environment—her approach is deeply personal. She believes it is important to work with woman to learn and identify how they are impacted by their life stories and personal history. Taniesha strongly believes that the power of a woman lies in her stories. Using this methodology, Taneisha works to help women identify what is helpful and what is causing harm in order to move forward with becoming their best self. Taneisha believes there is a significant connection between our minds and the bodies and utilizes a holistic therapeutic approach to move women through the challenges that hold them back.

Taneisha’s main modalities and approach to therapy are best described as an integrative mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Multiculturalism and reality-based Adlerian concepts. She additionally includes Movement Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Techniques in her therapeutic framework.

Joie de Vivre Counseling and Therapy is a private practice dedicated to helping women live happier more fulfilling lives through counseling and therapy services that support the health of the mind and body to bring growth and healing. We practice a holistic approach to health and wellness and look at how all areas of life are connected. Individual sessions are tailored to support the challenges women face by treating mental and general health problems through counseling and integrative wellness.
