As a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) with two years of mental health experience and five years in the medical field, I specialize in multicultural, neurodiversity-affirming, and trauma-informed care. I am especially passionate about supporting first-generation, Muslim, BIPOC, or neurodivergent individuals who want to feel seen, understood, and empowered to heal, grow, and live in alignment with their authentic selves. Support is also provided for teens and young adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, or identity challenges.

My approach is collaborative and empowerment-focused, as I am passionate about creating a comfortable, affirming environment where you can bring your full self and begin healing, not by being fixed but by being met, heard, and supported. I look forward to listening to your story and empowering you to embrace your authentic self in our work together.

Working together, you can expect a safe, empathetic, and culturally supportive space, which helps me be a compassionate and supportive partner in your care. My style is collaborative and adapted to your unique experiences and goals, and may include person-centered, trauma-informed, or culturally responsive approaches to help you explore your identity, heal challenges, and build confidence.

Working in the medical field showed me how many people could benefit from a therapist who understands their culture, practices their religion, speaks their language, and truly sees them. This experience inspired my commitment to ensuring multicultural, neurodiversity-affirming, and trauma-informed care. In my practice now, I am proud to bring empathy, warmth, and a collaborative spirit to every session.

As a Muslim provider, I ventured into this field to help people who look like me but enjoy working with patients from any faith. I have effectively helped people from the Catholic faith as well as agnostic and atheist patients and am in the planning process for incorporating animal-assisted interventions into my work as I continue my trainings (specifically with cats). Future practices also include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Islamically integrated therapy as an LPC.

I love spending time with my cats, wandering in nature, sipping iced coffee, and laughing with friends and family. These little joys keep me grounded and help me bring warmth, presence, and care into my work with patients.
