Hello, I'm Robyn, and I'm glad you're here. As an experienced mental health clinician, I believe in a strengths-based, collaborative approach to therapy. My goal is to work alongside you, leveraging your strengths to help you navigate life's challenges and achieve your personal goals. With a demonstrated history in the mental health care industry, education, military, courts, and medical fields, including international service, I bring a wealth of experience to our sessions. I am skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) - as an EMDRIA certified therapist, Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy, Prolonged Exposure (PET), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), strengths perspective, solution-focused brief therapy, and PolyVagal theory. My years of experience span service delivery in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including work with the military, men's issues, life transitions, retirement, social services, group therapy, crisis intervention, forensics, and family therapy. I have also founded several non-profit organizations and community programs focused on complete wellness, hope, and healing. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Kansas, with advanced training from EMDRIA, Zen Den Meditation and Breath, and the Menninger Foundation. I am licensed at the Clinical Social Work level in Florida, Kansas, and the District of Columbia. If you're ready to take the next step towards healing and growth, I would be honored to work with you. Let's embark on this journey together.
