Hello, I am so happy that you are here! That means that you are contemplating the beginning of your therapeutic journey. Reaching out for help is the first and hardest step; it’s also the one that leads to a healthier, happier tomorrow. I truly believe that anyone can benefit from therapy no matter what age, gender, or race. My passion lies in assisting people in finding their authentic selves and improving their relationships, whether in individual, couples, or family counseling. Whether one’s unhappiness stems from mental health issues or life circumstances, it is my goal to aid them in weeding through their thorns to gain clarity and inner peace from within.

I strongly believe that resolution can’t be found until the pain is dealt with. Life will undoubtedly deal you pain, and pain demands attention; it's a visceral signal. It can’t be ignored or pushed aside. Finding your way out of depression, addiction, grief, trauma, anxiety, or any of life's struggles starts with recognizing the pain and knowing that you can discover personal strength and freedom to move on from it. I strive to bring an effective blend of experience, expertise, clarity, concern, and action to the counseling process in order to maximize outcomes and provide genuine healing and wholeness to every client I serve. I have found that when using these interventions, clients have the ability to overcome and understand their thought process.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I am also a National Certified Counselor. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional, and a Certified Mindfulness-Informed Clinician. I was honorably discharged from the United States Army after serving my country for six years, and I enjoy working with the military and civilian community.

My clients include children, adolescents, families, and adults. I have extensive training in treating childhood trauma, anxiety, and depression. I have worked in community mental health settings, schools, inpatient psychiatric facilities, child and family agencies, substance abuse treatment centers, and private practice. I utilize a variety of techniques and skills drawn from recognized therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, Psychoeducation, Motivational Interviewing, Behavior Modification, Person-Centered, and Mindfulness and Relaxation. Rather than adopting one methodology for all individuals and issues, I draw from a variety of methods to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation. I believe in working in partnership with clients, utilizing their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals.

I want to thank you for allowing me to walk beside you on this journey. I look forward to meeting you.
