Erin Brazill, LCSW, PLLC
Erin Brazill is the founder of River Birch Therapy, a solo private practice that specializes in providing supportive counseling and psychotherapy to individuals, families, groups and communities affected by cancer.
Erin holds a BA in Visual Art and Psychology from Le Moyne College, a MS in Art Therapy from Eastern Virginia Medical School and a MS in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New York as well as a Registered, Board-Certified Art Therapist.
After years of training and experience in psychology, medical art therapy, and social work, Erin now focuses on adjusting to cancer experiences, coping with grief and loss, trauma, complex relational issues and end of life conversations. During sessions at River Birch, Erin works from a whole-person, strengths-based, relational and embodied approach to health. Her approach to working with includes mindfulness-based stress reduction and meaning-centered and trauma-informed frameworks to encourage the integration of the mind-body experiences affected by cancer.
