Rachel Colon
I am a Bilingual/Bicultural therapist who takes pride in working with clients of diverse backgrounds. As your therapist my goal is to work with you in a collaborative way, using a culturally humble lens and awareness that "one size does not fit all." In my practice I work with Adolescents and Young Adults in an effort towards identifying solutions that promote growth, healing and life satisfaction through use of the therapeutic relationship.
I treat individuals with a range of life struggles including anxiety, depression, trauma, loss and life transitions. Utilizing a collaborative approach and evidence based treatments, I will tailor my technique based on your individual needs. Aspects of mindfulness, trauma-informed and insight-oriented approaches may also be used.
I am a compassionate and thoughtful clinician that is committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic space. My goal is to help you find relief through developing an ability to manage and cope with the complexities and challenges one experiences with everyday life.
