Nora Alwah

Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC
Last Updated 30+ days ago

I am a queer cis-woman of color, and an immigrant from Denmark and Comoros.

I am passionate about fiercely challenging systemic oppression and empowering people to reclaim their innate power. As a somatic and social justice psychotherapist, I guide and empower clients in the discovery and celebration of your authentic self. Through both my work and my own lived experience, I have developed a critical awareness of the relationship between trauma and oppression. In the therapy room, you are able to gain bodily awareness and skills on how you can move more fluidly in expressing and embodying you own unapologetic truth that is too often silenced by society
I specialize working with marginalized populations, including people of color, QTPOC, bilingual individuals, immigrants, queer people, and trans and gender non-conforming individuals.

As a multilingual psychotherapist, I provide counseling in English, Spanish, French and Danish.

I provide both in-person and video sessions.
