Are you seeking support as you move through difficult emotions, life changes, or other challenges affecting your overall well-being? As a mental health counselor, I support children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and periods of adjustment or transition. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop healthy coping strategies, and work toward greater balance, confidence, and personal growth.

I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported in their mental health journey, and I understand that beginning therapy can feel intimidating. Making the process feel comfortable and approachable matters to me, so know that you don’t have to navigate difficult moments alone. Together, we can create a space to explore your experiences and work toward your goals. I look forward to supporting you on that journey toward greater well-being.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and a humanistic, patient-centered approach to meet each person where they are, using these tools to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing effective coping strategies. This approach is compassionate, collaborative, and supportive, grounded in the belief that therapy should feel like a genuine human connection.

Because therapy is most effective when patients feel comfortable being their authentic selves, I tailor my approach to your unique needs, experiences, and goals. I'm passionate about creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood while developing the tools and insight you need to navigate challenges and move toward meaningful growth.

My path to becoming a therapist began with a genuine love for people and a deep curiosity about what helps us heal and grow. As someone from a LatinX background, I have witnessed and experienced the struggles and stigma that can surround mental health and understand how difficult it can be to take the first step toward seeking support. These experiences deepened my commitment to making therapy feel approachable, comfortable, and inclusive. I bring this same warmth, curiosity, and a genuine desire to understand each person's unique story to my work with patients.

Pilates has become part of my weekly routine, and when I'm not on the mat, I'm usually curled up with a good book — I love murder mysteries, thrillers, romance, and the occasional fantasy novel. At home, I have an anxious dog I love to spoil, and I'm working on becoming more of a plant mom. I also enjoy baking.
