Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT
Accepting clients Last Updated 10 days ago

I know that finding the right therapist is a challenge and the process of starting therapy can be daunting. I will share a bit about my education and practice as an introduction to help you decide if I would be a good fit for your therapy needs.

My education and license are in Marriage and Family Therapy which heavily guides my work. Whether I work with a couple or an individual, I take a holistic approach exploring how relationships and experiences have impacted current mental health. I truly believe that nobody is born with mental health struggles but instead challenges are created through the experiences and relationships we have. I also take into account social location and the intersection of race, class, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, and ability in order to obtain a more complete picture of my clients’ lives.

I see a variety of clients. Some struggle with ADHD, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, PTSD, or multiple diagnoses, and others with relational difficulties, family conflict, grief, hoarding, immigration stress, perfectionism, low self-esteem, co-dependency, and/or life transitions. My approach varies depending on the needs of each individual. Some clients prefer talk therapy which is flexible and centered around the client's needs at the time of the session. Others like psycho-educational therapy which is more direct and goal oriented. The type of therapy I engage and the therapeutic modalities I utilize depend on each individual, what resonates with them, and what they are needing in the moment.

If you are interested in further exploring if I would be a good fit, I would love to schedule a free consultation to have a conversation about your needs and give you a chance to ask any questions you may have. Here is a link to my calendar for easy scheduling- https://calendly.com/lifemindfullydesigned/30min

I welcome the opportunity to work together.
