Licensed Professional Counselor

Hello, I'm Kasey. It can be incredibly frustrating to live in a world where you often feel misunderstood or even like an outsider. I know what that is like. As a counselor who specializes in working with the LGBTQ+, Black, poly, and kink/BDSM communities, I understand the importance of finding a counselor who aligns with your needs. I am here to help because the truth is, you are exceptionally unique! My passion is to make mental health services more accessible to ALL, especially BIPOCs, and to provide a safe and affirming space to marginalized groups. My goal is to assist people through life's many challenges while empowering them at the same time.

I hold an MA and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I primarily utilize a cognitive-behavioral approach in my counseling, but also incorporate client-centered, systemic, and creative approaches. I believe in meeting my clients where they are and tailoring therapy to their individual needs. We will work collaboratively to improve daily functioning and achieve a higher quality of life. I hope that you will feel empowered and happier with the changes you make.

If you are in need of assessment for gender-affirming services, I have experience in providing the necessary documentation to satisfy those requirements as well. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, family relationships, multicultural/diversity issues, intimate/romantic relationships, sex/intimacy issues, life transitions, stress, or gender identity concerns, I am here to support you.

Outside of my professional life, I am deeply committed to creating inclusive and affirming spaces for all individuals. This commitment drives my work and my approach to therapy. If you're ready to take the next step, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey to a more fulfilling and authentic life.
