Kaila Tang

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
Last Updated 30+ days ago

Kaila (she/her/hers) identifies as a second-generation American-born Chinese woman. Kaila acknowledges that therapy (and life) is not a quick fix but an ever-changing journey of self-discovery and improvement. By utilizing psychodynamic/psychoanalytic techniques that highlight the importance of connection to oneself and the world, she helps individuals unveil and understand the sources of their suffering. One of the most valued elements of her work is the relational depth she cultivates with her clients.
Kaila practices from a trauma-informed, culturally responsive and inclusive foundation, and she has extensive experience working with clients from various cultural, racial/ethnic, spiritual, and religious backgrounds. Informed by her background as a social worker, Kaila is passionate about reducing mental health stigma and advocating for mental healthcare equity on behalf of minority communities.
