Welcome to my therapy practice! As a clinical and developmental psychologist, I help adolescents and young adults with the challenges that occur during the transition to adulthood. As a professor who's also a clinical neuroscientist, I apply my expertise on the brain to my work as a therapist.
Many college and graduate students experience depression, anxiety, and/or sleep problems. These problems are distressing and can interfere with academic and social activities, but they're also, fortunately, quite treatable. My strategy is to work with you collaboratively, using a tailored combination of established, evidence-based treatments. As we work together to set goals, strengthen your skills for regulating emotions and behavior, and apply approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness, I hope to help you achieve balance and enjoy this unique and exciting time in your life.
My practice is primarily in person. I am able to incorporate telehealth as needed. I am able to work with adolescents and young adults in either short-term or long-term therapy, depending their wishes, needs, and schedule. Please feel free to contact me to learn about my practice and whether it suits your goals.
