Hello, I'm Elma. Life can be incredibly challenging, and I'm glad you're here, taking the first step towards a more fulfilling and happier life. It takes courage to seek out change, and together, we can identify and address the concerns that brought you here, aiming to help you achieve mental and emotional well-being.

With over 20 years of professional experience, I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. I'm a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical, licensed in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. My journey has allowed me to work with adolescents, young adults, and older adults, helping them navigate various phases of life. My expertise includes assisting clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem issues, and family conflicts.

I specialize in working with adults, employing a Cognitive Behavioral approach to help you view issues and situations from different perspectives. I believe in a holistic approach, meeting each client where they are, and treating everyone with respect. Building a strong therapeutic rapport and alliance is crucial to me, as it provides the necessary support for you to enact meaningful change in your life.

If you're ready to take the next step towards a healthier, more balanced life, I'm here to support you. Let's work together to navigate your challenges and achieve your goals.
