Elaine provides the sliding scale services at Capaz Counseling under the supervision of Jessenia Ramirez, LMHC.
She is a Taiwanese-American therapist-in-training, and her identity as a woman of color allows her to intuitively understand how mental health and structural oppression are intertwined. In therapy, she is committed to co-creating healing, safe relationships with queer and POC folks. She is passionate about supporting marginalized individuals and groups to find greater clarity, self-compassion, and meaning in their lives.
Elaine draws from mindfulness, the mind-body connection, trauma-informed approaches, and her experience volunteering at a crisis hotline in her work.
