I may have opening starting January 2023. I value working collaboratively with clients to identify their struggles and strengths. I use a mix of warmth, honesty, humility, and humor to help clients discover their authentic selves, as I believe contact with our genuine thoughts, feelings, and needs best inform our approach to our problems. I strive to create a safe and brave environment in therapy where clients can feel empowered, particularly those that have felt criticized or marginalized by their families, communities, or even themselves. In psychology terms, I have an integrative approach using a mixture of CBT, humanistic therapy, and brief dynamic psychotherapy.
I believe happiness is not something received or achieved, but the byproduct of ongoing, deliberate effort to be who you really are.
