Deanna G McCaskill
Licensed in Florida, Arizona and Colorado. Certified Eating Disorder Specialist with focus on trauma, self-harm behaviors, and chronic pain and chronic illness. Everyone deserves peace in their lives but oftentimes experience fear and self-doubt from difficult experiences or perhaps invalidating environments. I have had the dream of becoming a therapist since I was in high school, and I am grateful to be living that dream. My counseling approach involves genuineness, fostering self-compassion and instilling empowerment for those I work with.
Treating eating disorders, disordered eating and body image concerns is a passion of mine. In addition, I have extensive experience with teens, college students, and young adults. I am HAES-aligned, LGBTQIA+ and neuro affirming and work to help all humans feel safe. I have specialized training in working with first responders.
Deciding to see a therapist is not a sign of weakness but a sign of strength. It is vulnerable, yet courageous to ask for help. My goal is to make this experience feel safe for you. I would love to partner with you to help you reconnect with your values and with others. I will be your advocate as you grow into the self you deserve to be. You are worthy.
