As a trans person of color, I know firsthand that those who hold marginalized identities often are told to remain silent and invisible. I practice with the principle that the therapeutic space belongs to the client. I prioritize my clients’ voices and introspections and consider the influences of systemic oppression and generational trauma on each client’s life. I believe healing is found when we can connect to ourselves and others.

When sitting with clients, I seek to foster a space for accountability and joy. In our conversations, I focus on your strengths and working with you so you feel empowered to show up as your authentic self. You are the expert on your life, and I function to provide support and the tools for you to self-actualize.

I am part of the clinical team at the Aguirre Center for Inclusive Psychotherapy, which specializes in serving the Latinx, BIPOC & LGBTQ+ communities. If you would like to work with a therapist who believes that healing is found in relationship, I invite you to reach out. I would love to speak with you to see if we are a good fit.
