Camila Pastor
My approach as a psychotherapist is collaborative. I conduct therapy in English and Spanish.
By creating an empathic space for self-reflection and self-acceptance, I help individuals develop healthy relationships with themselves and others. I promote safety, transparency, and tools to empower in all areas of life with an increased capacity for self-expression and creativity. Together, we identify your unique strengths and solutions that will support you in creating the life you want and deserve.
I am a graduate of New York University Silver School of Social Work. I currently hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) and am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner candidate (SEP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) certified practitioner and utilize a Compassionate Inquiry approach. I have experience working with individuals experiencing various forms of trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dissociation, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, grief/loss as well as couples, family conflict and young adults.
